Ella Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"From the hotel it's about half an hour up the mountain (we walked there). A very nice place on the mountainside with a view of the neighboring Mount Ella and a waterfall, forest all around, local squirrels, an idyll. In general it's quiet, but from time to time a train passes below - a local landmark. It's convenient to start a walk from the hotel to Mount Ella, to the nine-arch bridge, to Mount Adam. Just go down and you're in the epicenter of city life. Wonderful hostess. The sweetest dog Nikki, we played with her all day. The room is spacious, with an exit to the veranda, where you can sit and look at the forest. Breakfast is served there. There is a kitchen with a stove and a kettle, which you can use. In the bathroom, bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. It's cool at night, but there are blankets for that. The breakfasts are nice: the hostess baked flatbreads, there is toast, fruit, an omelet. Please note: The lighting in the bathroom is dim, the water pressure is weak, but these are local peculiarities. As always, there is only one socket. Please note that it needs to be plugged in. There is no TV, kettle, refrigerator, air conditioner, there is a fan and a canopy from insects, but it is not hot here. A wonderful hotel, we left with regret."

"I have to admit, we absolutely loved our stay here. The people were so accommodating and friendly. The location is on a steep hill, most cars won't make it up but walking down and up takes about 5 minutes or a tub tuk can get you there. The view is amazing and worth the walk. It's so close to the main road and close to main attractions (about 20min walk) the room was comfortable, warm, clean. The breakfast was some fruit, with eggs made according to your choice, some toast and they even let us try the coconut pancakes which were so yummy. Everything was amazing. We were so happy there and will definitely stay there again."

"I'd like to share more than just a review, but a sincere thank you for several days of absolute peace and pleasure. It wasn't a typical vacation, but a true recharge. This villa is in a stunning location, surrounded by green hills and tea plantations! The hotel has only two spacious rooms, both with balconies and panoramic views. Everything is clean and tidy. There were four of us traveling, and it felt like the house was ours! It was amazing! Breakfast was prepared on time, and it was varied over both days. Large portions, everything was delicious: fruit, roti, burgers, several egg options, pancakes, and drinks to choose from. Nearby there's a picturesque railway bridge and a restaurant serving local cuisine. The city center is a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride along the serpentine roads. Special thanks to the hotel owner and manager, who were always ready to help, share information, and offer assistance! We will be happy to come back again!"

"Отель подойдёт тем, кто планирует целыми дня отсутствовать, посещая достопримечательности Эллы и возвращаясь сразу ложиться спать. Я брал обычный номер (кровать, небольшой «стол», стул, тумбочка, душ/туалет. Для меня комната очень маленькая и в кровать я не вмещался (рост 190см). Но мне очень понравилось гостеприимство хозяина отеля и его друга, они очень дружелюбные и старались создать максимальный комфорт! Есть просторная веранда на первом этаже, где можно скоротать вечер или поработать в ноутбуке. Завтраки вкусные и сбалансированные, что мне тоже очень понравилось, также несколько раз ужинал здесь же - всё понравилось, вкусно!"

"The hotel is excellent, everything you need in the room is there, even slippers, furniture and plumbing have been updated. It is located near the street with restaurants, 5 minutes down the hill. Walking to the start of the trail to the nine-arch bridge is about 20 minutes. We had a room with a stunning view, mountains and a waterfall are visible from the window. Good place for the price/quality ratio"

"The hotel is on the hillside, with a good mountain view, the room bathroom is super large, the only room that is not damp in the 20 days of living in Sri Lanka, if there is air conditioning, it will be perfect.  It is more than 20 minutes' drive from Ella Town.  Ella is mostly sloped . It is basically a curved path to various hotels and homestays. It is very suitable for  people who want to be quarantined for a few days to live for a few days. I especially want to praise their service team. A few simple warm and friendly local boys, they really want to be good to every guest staying, thank you for the delicious breakfast."

"Мы остались под хорошим впечатлением от отеля. Домик новый, чистый и уютный. Из него открывается вид на лес, также слышны умиротворяющие звуки природы. В домике есть водонагреватель, что очень важно, а также тв, вай-фай, чайник, фен. Хозяин домика очень дружелюбный, внимательный и приятный в общении человек. При необходимости с ним можно договорится о трансфере до города Эллы и местных достопримечательностей. Спасибо за гостеприимство!"

"Just off the main bar and restaurant street, is this simple home stay. It's quiet at night and a good place to relax and get some sleep as you pass through Ella. It is at the top of a very steep hill."

"On a hillside, the road is extremely difficult to find. Opposite is the woods, there are monkeys, squirrels, birds, very ecological, so there must be mosquitoes. No air conditioning, the toilet light changed, and the boss could not be found. There is no front desk, it is an uncle who runs his own business. He wants breakfast and coffee. He is very arrogant, and the uncle is scared to run down the stairs and scare me!"

"The room is large but not clean enough and without air con. The staff are helpful and friendly. For the location, it is next to the city centre so there are many restaurant nearby and there are many options that we can choose. However, the hotel is difficult to find and hair dryer, body wash and shampoo are not provided."
