GGuest UserOk. I wanted to select a neutral thumb. Good points, there was parking, the room was clean. Mostly. Thr shower had some stains, not sure of they could be scrubbed out.
Bad points. Its in the middle of what appears to be a district of love hotels. I feel like this one is trying to distance from its Love motel past, but the curtains hanging in the front of the park garage, though rolled up, are a dead give away. Only other complaint is the smell of cigerettes has not cleared fully. Overall Ive stayed in far worse, not clean places in the states. I would reccomend for the price and parking.
GGuest UserSmall hotel with everything you need. One of the best & cleanest! Booked this place last minute and had no expectations, but boy were we surprised! We booked the deluxe as we were a family of 4: 3 singles and 1 queen. So everyone was able to sleep comfortable (& the bed were comfy). Very clean. Even the large bathroom was clean because it was through another door (near the entrance), it was quiet even when someone was using it in the middle of the night. We totally loved it and was so pleased to have found this gem. They had a very clean kitchen near the lobby that you could use and we brought our breakfast down every morning & ate there. They had free coffee/tea & filtered water system. Very convenient. Provided combs, hair ties, slippers, robes, even a reusable ”scrubbing shower towels” in their amenity pack - better than a 5star hotel! Can't stop talking about how great this little place was. And, of course, it was walking distance to the bus terminal, restaurants, bakeries, and quick access to bus 10 which took you to the temples. Just lovely! Thank you!
MMaikeWe had a great time here at Hotel Palace. The hotel itself is close to all attractions (walking distance) and also easy to reach by bus.
Other than expected, we could check in earlier than 5pm (which I found pretty late) without charging anything!
Also, all facilities were super clean and the room itself quite big.
As others already mentioned, everyone can use the cafeteria to make ramen, coffee and get water FOR FREE - liked this a lot.
Breakfast was simple but good (toast, jam, peanut butter, Joghurt, fruit) and I think if you come prior to guests taking everything for themselves- there will be enough from everything also for you.
I fully recommend this place- only thing which would be great were big towels for showers.
AA T (Oddre)Pleasantly surprised with the location and room amenities, charging cables, bidet, LG Tromm Styler, BIG beds, located 4 min from key bus stops and 20 min walk from Hwangnidan and other attractions. The area is also v safe for female travellers although at a first glance it's along a row of motels that seemed dodgey. While hotel staff didn't speak fluent English they did their best to help out and we always courteous and patient. Our stay here made the trip to Gueongju even better!
Quite a challenge to go to the actual hotel as the area had endless turns - but thanks to Naver Map, that's been taken care of. The staff at the front desk helped us with the adapter, so thank you for that! The property was clean and well-maintained, and easy to go around as the bus stops are nearby.
RRafaelThe hotel is excellent. Large, comfortable room, very clean and organized. The view of the lake is beautiful and the room service is fast. The pools are clean, large and suitable for people of all ages. The gym is very well equipped and you can practically carry out your training routine without missing any equipment. The restaurants are great and serve Western meals. Large and free parking. All employees served us with care and promptness. We intend to return soon!
Pprof. RobertoCasa Mini Hotel is a small, compact guesthouse. A short walk from the express bus stop station and in direct line with the Royal Tombs which can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk. Even though it is fairly clean, I don't recommend it. The double room, which was occupied by me only, was extremely tiny and sparse in furnishing: a bed which measured by far less than a queen-sized, a bed side table, a minifridge, a lined up desk, a TV set, and a stool. Even the bathroom was small. Irrespective my room was on the fourth floor there was no view except for an ambiguous massage and spa motel opposite. When I arrived at the reception there was no one. The staff is on duty and site for a couple of hours from 4pm onwards, when check-in begins. Then no one again until the next morning, just in time for breakfast. And yes, the breakfast, an embarrassing service: orange juice, milk, sliced bread, strawberry jam, butter, sliced tomato and chopped bananas Period. Nothing else. And at the end of breakfast you are also invited to clean up the table and wash the used dishes. An ”attention” which surely makes Casa Mini a student hostel more than a hotel. Important warning: there is no lift. Those they need to get to the fourth floor can only use a goods lift to bring suitcases up and down the stairs. However the lift remains stuck more than once so that it results in another ridiculous, useless service. If the price is less than 25 euros or Koreani Won equivalent that might be fine. Otherwise, just opt for something else.
GGuest UserThe hotel bedding was clean and the bathroom was clean. If the place looks clean enough, there's nothing to complain about. The bathroom had a jacuzzi function, so I had fun bathing with my child. There were rooms without bathtubs, but I was glad I stayed in a room with a bathtub.
I read on Naver Blog that the breakfast wasn't that great, but the breakfast on Monday was okay. They served Korean food and I liked the bread, coffee, milk, cereal, etc. It wasn't fancy, but it was good for a semi-buffet. I think I'll want to eat breakfast again next time I go.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but Gyeongju is such a small city that you can get to all the tourist attractions in 15 minutes by car. It was quiet and comfortable.^^ The staff were also very kind.
TThomasWe had a very nice stay at Ran Hanok. Upon arrival we were welcomed and introduced to the building and our room. The Hanok is nicely located close to various historic sites which can be easily reached by walking or cycling along the riverbanks. Breakfast was a bit few (for a european) but was kindly served. The Hanok room has not much of equipment inside which is ok and part of the concept of traditional living. However, the floor heating was a completely new experience. Futon mattresses are kinda thin though and you might experience some back/hip pain.
AArmyyyWe were looking for a spacious and clean place because we were going on a family trip. The location was a bit far from Gyeongju, but the room was very clean, spacious, and the parking was convenient, so it was great. My parents really liked it!
We had squid sashimi and dried pollack from the fish market right in front and ate it all together. ㅎㅎ
And the outdoor jacuzzi in the room.. It was the best. However, I didn't bring spare clothes, so I bought short-sleeved shirts and shorts at the big mart right in front. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
This is all a memory~ The air is cold, but my body is warm~ It was completely healing. I recommend it~!~! The room was on the first floor, but it was located on a high hill, so I could see the ocean. It was great.
