Bishkek Hotels with Shuttle Service

My stay at the Ramada in Bishkek wasn’t great and I couldn’t wait to leave! Upon arrival the guy on reception was so rude and looked at me like a piece of dirt. I asked if any rooms had a good view (which they did because I’ve seen the photos), he laughed, lied and said no! Originally put on the 3rd floor it seemed really busy. I got 3 hours sleep the first night as other guests decided to “hang out” in the corridors. I was actually quite scared as they were being really loud, aggressive and just being a nuisance. The next day I asked to move, which they allowed me to. I moved up one floor, sadly I encountered another group of people travelling together who also liked to leave their room doors wide open so that they could go between rooms. Seriously never experienced a hotel like it, I barely slept again and my 4 nights of lacklustre sleep were appalling. First room the tv didn’t work, there were hair all over the floor and also on my pillow. Second room the tv worked but all channels were in Russian and if you’d like any tea tray refills you’ll have to ask!! Breakfast was okay, you can get an omelette or eggs when they can be bothered to come out of their cupboard. Most things are laid out and you can help yourself, which is fine. The best thing about this place is the location and being able to walk places. Beware it was the Golden Tulip hotel until Ramada took it over and don’t seem to have done any improvements. Room configurations are weird and have more hidden corners that are just odd. Airport transfers are $20 which seems quite excessive for Bishkek. A taxi is roughly 1,000 KGS. Safe to say I wouldn’t stay here again and possibly not at another Ramada either.

Probably the best hotel in Bishkek, the room is large, well maintained and very clean. The hotel is located on a tree-lined road in the city centre and is convenient for eating around. The hotel is about 60 yuan by taxi to the airport and has convenient transportation. There are many restaurants that go far away, and there is also a Chinese restaurant. It is convenient to eat.

Comfortable location, almost in the center, in the pedestrian availability of shopping restaurants shops, everything you need. Three days of accommodation were received in rubles of about 8 thousand. For this money was provided a magnificent room and breakfast was included. In the room is a good quality repair and finish. Good big soft bed, panoramic windows, air conditioning, good expensive furniture, excellent bath. Also all dispensers: soap, shampoo, coats, towels. All recommend, the service is excellent6 will definitely come again.

My assessment of Damas International Hotel Bishkek highlights several deficiencies. notably the toilet closet, fell below expectations due to poor cleanliness and hygiene standards. Additionally, the water kettle exhibited signs of neglect, and amenities such as a refrigerator, iron box, and locker facilities were notably absent. Furthermore, the absence of English or Asian channels on the television was disappointing. Based on these observations, I cannot recommend this hotel to others and do not believe it warrants a four-star rating

Initially, we planned to stop at the Ambassador Hotel for two weeks, but during the stay the plans changed and we lasted. As a result, we spent almost two months in this hotel. What can you say? This time for the hotel is more than demonstrative. The interior world of the hotel, its life, staff work, leadership - everything becomes visible with an unarmed eye. To say that we were surprised - nothing to say. All our stay has been the best of the hotel. Clean rooms, cleaning, delicious food, cozy atmosphere - all thanks to the staff who worked in good faith and responded to all our requests, which, by the way, were many. It is a sad story. The hotel was awarded 4 stars, probably on the basis that it has a swimming pool. The rest is God knows what. The location is excellent, under the windows there is an eternal traffic jam and beeps. When settling, they took money for an early check-in. Everything would be fine, but first they settled, and only then they took it. They gave one card for two, and when asked to give a second one, since it’s just normal, but having one card is abnormal and inconvenient, they answered that no, they say, it’s not supposed to. ********. The toilet seat lives separately. The cabin in the shower closes halfway, because the door is simply narrower than the opening, the door to the toilet does not close at all. The air conditioner is noisy but does not ventilate. The refrigerator is just noisy. And the socket in the room is one, hidden behind the refrigerator. In general, do not expect comfort. This harsh Bishkek hotel does not exist for you to relax there, you understand. You have to be in good shape, comrades!

Not bad overall, however the rooms have glass windows with very limited opening capabilities, hence for those who like fresh air the rooms too stuffy

The Kausar Hotel is located about 1.5 km - 2 km from the center, which is quite cool at the city's extension :-) In addition, the location of the hotel on the side street makes it impossible to reach the hotel. The room I occupied was very large, although it seemed like a single room. In the room there was a large bed (double bed!), wardrobe, desk with a chair, a comfortable chair, TV and ... plenty of space. The bathroom was a little small, but there was everything you needed, including cosmetics. So it was not a problem. The room was kept in pleasant, warm bronze and beige colors, among other things, so you could have a good rest after a tiring day. The surprise was very nice and helpful service at the reception (I arrived at the hotel after midnight and I was welcomed with a sincere smile on my mouth and the joy that I appeared, Because as I found out in the reception, they thought I wouldn't come. The hotel has a small but very nice interior garden where you can completely ”reset” e.g. after your trip. Very delicious breakfast. Besides the Swedish table, among others, with fruits and sweet bakes, there was also a raisins (in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan it was an exception) you could also get an egg or an omlet. So, I recommend staying at the Hotel Kausar at 100 percent!

My local Kyrgyz driver, who picked me from the airport, asked me which hotel should he take me to. I gave him the name of my previous hotel where I stayed earlier. He suggested if he could show me a new hotel in good location. My first question was the rate the hotel charges. He said US $ 50/- per night. That was a real bargain so I requested him to go to new hotel. It is called Discovery Hotel Bishkek on 31, Orenburgskiy side street. At the reception was a young girl who spoke good English. She asked for my passport to register in their computer. After a short while she handed over the passport with room key. She did not ask for upfront payment or deposit. So they collect when the guest leave the hotel. Going to my room, which was not large, but spotlessly clean and welcoming. Bed and furniture were new and well polished. Yes, it was air-conditioned. Continental Breakfast which included soft drinks, chicken sausages and pastries, plus coffee or tea was included in the price. Dining room was large enough with wall-mirror decor and beautiful flowers. I was impressed. I was very satisfied and stayed 3 nights. My highest recommendation to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced 4 stars hotel, rather cheaply priced, when visiting Bishkek.
