Beachfront resort but I only got a skylight. Even the bathroom had a better view. The room had 2 beds but linens were removed for one since I was a solo traveler and only 1 towel was provided. No shoes policy helped keep the house clean. That is very good. I didn’t use the kitchen much except to make tea but seems like it is in good condition. Dishwashing liquid however was in a glass jar instead of pump. It’s strange cos you end up using too much for a small spoon and the jar is very slippery. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent! Hot food along with homemade breads. It was the best breakfast I had in my 2 weeks in Iceland. Location is an hour drive from Egilsstaðir via some mountain pass, gravel roads and along the coast road. The views are breathtaking. But it’s a small town and if you don’t intend to hike around the area then it might not be worth spending so much time getting to and fro your accommodation.

From the appetizer to the first course, the beef and lamb of the two main courses are cooked just right, and with the fresh local side dishes, they play beautiful music on your tongue. I strongly recommend that everyone who comes to Iceland must taste this restaurant [strong] [strong] [strong]. The lake view room I booked is not big, but the bath water is very powerful, which can wash away the fatigue of the journey. The hotel provides aurora wake-up service. At night, the aurora dances on the lake outside the hotel window. I just need to crawl from the bed to the window and stick my phone out of the window to take pictures of the exciting aurora [covering my face]. The next day, I left the hotel satisfied after having a fine breakfast. Everything is perfect.

LLeiThe hotel facilities are complete. It is beyond imagination that the public bathroom is very clean and has no odor. There is only one washing/drying machine. It takes a while for a lot of people. (I waited for almost 2 hours because some people were unconscious. The clothes are left for a long time before they are taken away, which is a waste of my sleep time.) The room is super small. It is really recommended to divide the room for more than 4 people. It is really narrow enough that even the suitcase can not be opened for a long time, but basically it can be

GGuest UserHostel for accommodation**** when you pass east of Iceland. There are very well equipped accommodation and several common areas. Clean and comfortable rooms. Malely soundproofed, too noise, the rooms give the living room. The shower is small, the toilets and showers are in the lower floor, which generates people accumulating.

Facilities: We stayed in a two-person room on the third floor. The room was a bit small, and a suitcase larger than a boarding suitcase might get stuck; the extension cord had poor contact, the hot water pressure was sufficient, and it came with a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and Conditioner; there is chess to play in the public area.
But why does the 4-person room on the first floor have a hot water kettle (as seen through the window when walking by the lake), but not upstairs? !
Service: The first floor is under renovation, self-service is provided, keys are provided in envelopes for self-pickup, no breakfast is provided, only paper is enclosed in the envelope. Recommended restaurants
