I’d give it 6 stars if that were possible. From the moment we checked in we knew this was a top notch property. The front desk staff are incredibly professional, friendly and go out of their way to assist wherever they can. Housekeeping is exceptional and the turndown service at night is just wonderful — always leaving us bottles of water and chocolates by our bedside tables. The bathroom towels were luxurious and changed daily, the water pressure in the shower was delightful. Our junior suite was very comfortable and restful and we had a lovely balcony view of the Plaza del Castillo minus the noise from the street down below. In short, we had a WONDERFUL week in Pamplona and this establishment deserves its #1 spot hands down. Muchísimas gracias al Gran Hotel La Perla, lo pasamos de cine. Hasta la próxima.

A tranquil place. Surprisingly amazing service like a 5 star luxury hotel. Fantastic food. I was there for a week and i will go back. the rooms are comfortable, the bed particularly so, there is good air con and plenty of space so it almost feelsl like you are in your country house and not in a hotel. the only problems are small in the context of it all but worth a mension. the shower was not great and it had one of those annoying mixer taps so when some other room starts using water the temperature changes. the range in temperature is too much! each day this surprised me as it just does not fit with the rest of the hotel. the other small issue is a few of the electrical sockets in my room which was a bit annoying. specifically i had to unplug the Nespresso machine to plug my laptop in. That isnt good in the morning! Breakfast is wonderful and Herman is a fantastic host. nothing is too much trouble at breakfast time, even sorting out laundry! dinner and lunch are evidence of a super talented kitchen. How can tomatoes just taste so good. Simple things cooked with a super talented touch.

A one-week rental during San Fermin Festival served my husband and I very well. The efficiency kitchen was super helpful due to the length of stay and not wanting to walk far to a tapas place. However, pillows were non-supportive and seven kitchen items listed on the inventory sheet were missing. Had to wait one night for an extra pillow, never got the missing kitchen items and therefore had to function with only two drinking glasses. they ask guests to take out their own trash! After a couple of huge rain storms, we heard loud dripping within the wall behind our bed near our heads. Virtual reception apologized for the inconvenience but noted that was the way the building was constructed. We had to move our bed to an opposite wall and rearrange side tables. The fact there is no one in the facility helping guests in person with any regularity added to the frustration. ”Virtual” reception is a big failure. Also, there were so many blinking safety lights we had to cover them with stickers to get a good night's sleep. Crucial since hubby was running with the bulls early in the morning!

Iianrod10We stayed at this hotel during the San Fermin Festival. It was bright, comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful. It was nice to have some peace and quiet away from the busy areas and all the crowds.. and it was only a short bus ride away from all the festivities. Breakfast offered was very good. Therec was a fair number of eating options around the hotel. There was a grocery close by.

Excellent quiet hotel. Large bathroom. Big closet. The windows opened so you could get fresh air. Nice bed. Very comfortable. Great cafeteria/snack bar adjacent to the lobby. Bus stop was right outside the door. Plenty of dining options nearby. There was even a easy coin laundry a block away. Wonderful area, would highly recommend. A bit of a walk to the old town and bull run, but only 30 minutes walk.

AAnonymous UserThe location is particularly good. On the mountain of the old city, it is close to thieves. We are driving to the old city during the Benniu Festival. We can also drive into the city. It feels very windy.
The hotel is small and exquisite, it is a castle, so the room is definitely not too big, but the bed is huge, I have never seen such a big bed, it has to be two meters five? Haha very comfortable. The noise during the festival is definitely noisy, just as background music.
The Ben Niu Festival is great. This life series belongs to. I feel the entertainment of the Spanish people to the spirit of death. There are so many activities. The body and bones can't keep up. Basically, three or four activities are out of power. At this time, the benefits of living in the city are reflected. You can go back to the hotel to sleep and charge. Then rise high at night.
This is a worthwhile trip and I highly recommend this place.

Great location. Walking distance to bus and train station. Train is about half hour walk. Restaurants and bars close by. Pedestrian mall steps away. The best thing is the Carrefour grocery store across the street! Beware as its closed on Sundays. Check in was fast, took tiny elevator to our floor and the elevator stopped, then nothing! Here we are in the elevator, no signs, no indication of what to do. It took a while But you have to push the OPPOSITE wall of the elevator to reveal that it is a DOOR. What would it take to put a label on the door that says ”PUSH” or a label with the shape of a hand. The front desk could have warned us. The room: In our first room, large windows a/c leaked water all over the floor, we had to move. Second room, great view, quiet, nice really only thing it needed was a box of kleenex. Mini fridge keeps your groceries cool. Decor: Post Apocalyptic Grey cement, light brown halls, industrial heavy guage steel tables folded by 20 tonne press. Conclusion: Surprised that there is not more choice in Pamplona. Either ”no sleep, rock bottom price” or way too much. This hotel was too expensive for what it is. At the price we paid, there should have been breakfast included.... At least.

TTraveler43491140158We had a twin room (on a tour) facing the street but there was absolutely no noise. The windows were double glazed and easy to open. The room was spacious enough to open two suitcases without tripping over each other. The beds, although they seemed hard, were remarkably comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, shampoo, body wash and soap provided. Towels large and the shower over the bath was a good size, good water pressure and a welcome change. Breakfast was great. No cereal but hot choices as well as breads, hams,cheeses. Nice hot coffee that doesn’t come out of a machine. One issue was the lifts and this is just being picky. They stop at floors you didn’t request, they close VERY quickly and will continue to close even if you stand in the doorway. And they really are tiny! However would definitely recommend this hotel.

Parking is at 36€ for 2 nights, very convenient next to. The hotel is very clean. The room is spacious, the comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent. There is a tapas bar, everything is good fresh and original. The servers are very nice. In short, I loved my stay in this attaching city. Thanks

The hotel is in an excellent location in Pamplona, but you cannot reach it by car - at least not with your own (perhaps taxis have a permit, I don't know). However, the parking option they offer is very convenient. You go to a very close-by public underground parking and give the ticket to the hotel front desk, which will charge you a discounted rate. Get the instructions from the hotel. The rooms were clean and modern, and the balcony looked out onto a square (Plaza Consistorial) right in front of the City Hall (Ayuntamiento), itself a very attractive old building. Breakfast is in the adjacent bar and good for what it is. Staff at the front desk is efficient and friendly enough; staff at the bar is more uneven - some very friendly and others less so. All in all a very convenient and reasonable option for a Pamplona vacation, very close to wonderful restaurants and the in the center of the old town. Recommended.

GGuest Userestuvimos el fin de semana del 1 al 3/12 y pasamos frio, ponen la calefacción en cuanto llegas un tiempo luego la quitan a la mañana te levantas helada, me fui a Barcelona con un constipado, en fin con las temperaturas que hace en Pamplona tienen que dejarla por la tarde y si la apagan por la noche volver a encenderla un par de horas antes de levantarte, para poder ducharte con una temperatura agradable, en fin un desastre
