Palma de Mallorca Hotels with Shuttle Service

The hotel room was great, the staff impeccable, just the small problem that can surprise you is that we had a booking tax of €8 and a bit, except that on the site where we booked and paid for the room online, at no time did they warn us that there would be a tax (knowing that we only slept one night, the price of which is not exorbitant either) so be careful not to get ripped off, especially if you were going to stay for a long time, the taxes will surely increase...

Stayed here for 7 days and writing this review just after checking out, all in all a nice hotel but with some pros and cons. Cons: - Room is a LOT smaller than advertised, with just enough room to walk around the bed. We paid for a decent room and expected what was shown on the pictures for ‘our room’ category but it was false advertisement. - Building site is noisy and an eye sore while sat around the pool. I actually knew about this before we booked but looking at the pictures from previous reviews it looked like most of the structure was up so the noisy bits were finished, I was wrong. I feel they should tell people on booking about it. - No table or chairs on balcony. We paid a lot for the room too through *********** and the pictures advertised for that room were nothing like what we booked. I called reception every single day on my 7 day holiday to ask for a chair and they promised the next day we could get one, we never got one. This would be ok if there was somewhere else to sit in the room but there is nowhere other than the bed. So we lay on the bed and played cards in the evening and didn’t use the balcony. We had a sea view too, so a shame we couldn’t sit out. - Pool bar closes at 5pm, they have a beautiful bar area with a TV, couches etc really lovely but no one sits in there in the evening because the bar is shut, and in the day everyone is sat around the pool. Bit of a shame to have such a wasted space that is so nice. - No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, didn’t have a cup of tea whole holiday. - No bottled water in room (didn’t bother me as just bought a big bottle each night from supermarket) - No iron in the room so we just wore creased clothes. - Sun loungers around the pool are really uncomfortable due to a metal bar that goes across them and dig into your back there isn’t a way around it. - Maid took one of our room key cards for some strange reason. Pros: - Staff are really lovely, the receptionist, bar lady, lifeguard (who gives you the towels everyday) all really nice friendly people who can’t do enough for you. - Room is cleaned everyday. - Excellent location! A short stroll to cala major centre where you’ll find the beach and all the restaurants/super market. - Porto Pi shopping centre is a 10-15 minute walk and is AMAZING, they have Zara, Mango, Bershka, Stradivarius and more. - Palma town centre is very close just 10 mins on the number 4 bus 2 Euro per person each way. - Fresh towels everyday, we brought them to the beach too no issues. - I have to hand it to them the shower in the room is lovely. Hot water no problem. - Breakfast is lovely, I wasn’t expecting much but it was really good. If you are British don’t be expecting full English type food (which we didn’t anyway) but they have an amazing selection of cheeses, meats, breads, fruit, cookies pastries brownies even churros. The hotel is strategically located, a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle, not far from the bar corridor and commercial street, and not far from the seaside. The reception at the hotel's front desk is warm, the interior decoration is modern, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is rich.

Very good location, beautiful views from the balcony from higher floors, to the historical center on foot About 15 minutes, to the beaches well connected by city bus, a variety of tasty breakfasts with regional products and I think that everyone will find something for themselves, well-soundproofed rooms with individual air conditioning, everyday cleaning, water free of charge and a free bar for a fee.It is true that in some places you can see a tooth of time, but it is not important unless you find a malcontent

Loved this hotel. Very clean and modern room overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was great plenty of choice. In a great location. After a long day of exploring, we came back to a bottle of cava and a fruit platter for my birthday which we hadn't even mentioned (must of noticed on my passport) Was a lovely touch. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to palma.

We booked two twin rooms as a group of friends. We were greeted by Alexandra who was very friendly and helpful. She showed us on a map where the good places to eat were and visit. The location was great and it was extremely easy to get about on foot and also to grab a taxi and visit other areas. The pool area was really good and chilled, nice touch that they provide beach towels in your room. The room and beds were really comfortable and the shower gel/shampoo etc were great, air con worked well. We always went out for breakfast but we could have eaten in the adjoining cafe. The only negative and the reason I would not give this five stars is that you have to get your one bottle of water (per room not per person) filled up by reception. This is really strange in a four star hotel normally you are provided with fresh bottles of water every day in a hotel of this standard and I feel it lets them down. I also wish they provided proper milk for a tea and also decent coffee as it was tiny and quite bitter. However the above are small things and I would stay here again,

Majestic & Regal are two words that come to mind when describing the Can Cera Hotel. From the moment you walk inside the hotel, you know that you have found paradise! The decor to the various scents in the air, and extremely welcoming staff make you keenly aware that you have chosen the perfect home for your holiday stay. The entire staff offered exceptional service although we enjoyed getting to know Benjamin, Francisco, Jose and April. The level of care provided to make sure we had everything needed was second to none. From island recreational and cultural activities to exceptional dining was highlighted daily. We highly recommend the Can Cera hotel and we would love to return in the future.

Would have been 5 star until last day as we checked out. The hotel is beautiful and combines parts of the basilica and an old print works. Its situated in the old town and accessible to all the best bits of Palma in minutes. It’s a tasteful design of old and new with an incredible front entrance and breakfast room and amazing sunset views over the city from the roof terrace. Our room was lovely with original vintage prints on the walls, discovered when the hotel was converted The pool is tiny which was a little disappointing as I had expected it to be big enough to swim in. It’s just a dipping pool. A few more choices of different nuts and seeds at breakfast would have been good but the omelettes were to die for. On our last night my husband hurt his head and and ended up staining the sheet and pillow with blood. I had also stained a robe and 2 towels with hair dye. (I had asked if there were any black towels when we arrived but they had none which I appreciate is fair enough) We were both concerned about the stains and mentioned it to the cleaner. She said it was fine and they could be cleaned. Unfortunately the hotel manager didn’t feel the same. He then proceeded to attempt charge us 100€ for this. He then brought the price down to 80€ (just like that) 80€ to clean or replace a pillow case, sheet, robe and 2 towels?! I would have expected to pay half that, plus surely a charge should be in place for such things within the hotels T’s and C’s? It felt as if the price had been plucked from thin air and left a bit of a bitter taste after what had been an u forgettable stay. We had been very apologetic but honesty didn’t pay off.
