Shijiazhuang Hotels with Airport Shuttle

Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay.

The hotel is in a great location, across the street from the Hebei Provincial Museum. It is easy to find by driving. There is free parking. The hotel environment is clean and the room layout is perfect, elegant and romantic. The staff are also warm and thoughtful, which makes people feel very comfortable. Xiao Wang and Xiao Shang in the front office are kind and considerate, and proficient in their business; Zheng Qiyue in the restaurant is a particularly enthusiastic girl who introduced the restaurant's dishes to us and gave us gifts when we left. The breakfast is very good, the dishes are rich, and you can also eat some Hebei special snacks. It was a really pleasant stay.

**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

This hotel has the best service I have ever had. The waiter's attitude was excellent. The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities, clean and sanitary. The voice-controlled ”Xiaozhi Butler” can intelligently switch lights, curtains, and TVs. The room is cleaned every day and the wardrobe is equipped with pajamas and hangers. The wash basin has hand soap and a hair dryer. The bathroom has bath towels, towels, shower gel, shampoo, and an automatic flush toilet with a heated toilet seat. The hotel has special items that other hotels do not have: Heyi afternoon tea (drinks and water), Heyi sleeping gift pack, and a fruit plate delivered by waiters every day. The hotel has a free gym, laundry room and free breakfast. When you order takeout, a robot will deliver it to your door. When checking out, the waiter also gave us two bottles of hot water to drink on the way. It’s not just divine service, but it’s also a heartwarming and unforgettable experience. The only drawback is that the room is not soundproof, which is also a common drawback of most other hotels. When visiting Shijiazhuang again, Yitel Shijiazhuang is still the first choice.

The golden key is back to help with taxi service. The robot delivery is very convenient. The hotel is very convenient to go to Wanli Temple. There are many delicious foods.

The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and ample parking spaces. It is not far from the Hebei Museum and many delicious restaurants. The room is large, the high floor has a wide view, the accommodation is comfortable, and the facilities such as the gym, swimming pool, and restaurant are complete. The free fruit and children's toiletries kit are very thoughtful. However, the hotel's furniture and facilities are a bit old, and perhaps due to the excessive work pressure, the front desk staff rarely smile.

Hotel design, environment, transportation, luggage storage and other services are in place, in line with the goodwill of Mercure. Especially to the museum and Shijiazhuang Station is very convenient. But this time there are still a few experiences that undermine the goodwill. The plane arrived late that day and arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night. The front desk service was Trip.com pre-sale room. I felt that it was not worth giving breakfast. This reason was a bit of a defeat. The room heating is louder and too hot at night. The bathroom ventilation is average.

Hotel room is fine. The staff at the front desk were kind, and spoke some English. There were many people everywhere during the May Day holiday, so I decided to go to Zhengding, which has been very popular in the past two years. It is very convenient to drive there, avoiding the peak hours of the first two days. The hotel is very close to the scenic spots and night markets, but the road is being repaired near the entrance, which is a bit chaotic. The hotel was unexpectedly pleasant. The ladies in the lobby were all dressed in Hanfu and were gentle and beautiful, especially the 0010 employee. The service was very good, and many small gifts were given, including a drifting paint fan that has been very windy recently, which can be made directly in the lobby. The room is also spacious and comfortable. In addition to the bathtub, there is also a wooden bucket for soaking feet with mugwort, which is very considerate. You can also eat some fruit and drink tea at any time in the executive corridor. It is very comfortable to stay and worth choosing.
