"**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest."

"Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay."

"Service: The front desk lady is really very enthusiastic, the check-in is very intimate, and we have upgraded a better room for free, thank you 🙏🏻 Hygiene: With children, the health is very good, the bath hot water is also very comfortable. The customer service called in advance to understand the accommodation needs and reserved a parking space. The hotel has its own parking lot, and the staff arranged every car entering in a timely manner, which was very orderly."

"Good business hotel if you have business in the Shijiazhuang High Tech business Zone. The hotel serve only breakfast there is no provision for lunch or dinner. It is new and clean hotel only for business travellers. There is shopping mall just 10 metre away where you can go for quick Lunch or dinner."

"The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and ample parking spaces. It is not far from the Hebei Museum and many delicious restaurants. The room is large, the high floor has a wide view, the accommodation is comfortable, and the facilities such as the gym, swimming pool, and restaurant are complete. The free fruit and children's toiletries kit are very thoughtful. However, the hotel's furniture and facilities are a bit old, and perhaps due to the excessive work pressure, the front desk staff rarely smile."

"Hotel room is fine. The staff at the front desk were kind, and spoke some English. My issue is that the walls are super thin, I was woken up in the middle of the night because the person in the next room was talking. I was able to clearly hear every word that the other guess said. The reception was kind enough to talk with the guess, after I called. But now I was plagued with the sound of that person snoring."

"Following the previous comment, family outing. Because the child felt uncomfortable after checking in, he vomited just after taking the medicine. Jin Li, the night shift supervisor of the housekeeping department, happened to be checking the room next door. He quickly came to help deal with the vomit and brought a thermometer to the child. When he learned that the child had not eaten yet, he sent white porridge and egg custard to the child. Thank you very much for the timely help of Jin Li, and thank Master Feng Baoqiang, the master who is responsible for cleaning the carpet. There are many types of breakfast. Due to the large flow of customers during the festival, the breakfast staff of the cafe are very busy, hard-working and enthusiastic in providing services to the guests, but they are still overwhelmed, which can easily cause unnecessary customer complaints. In summary, as a four-star hotel, the services of the three front-line departments of the International Building lobby, guest rooms, and catering, as well as the parking lot security personnel, are still worthy of recognition.
