The location is right in front of the beach and it is the perfect place to stay if u are going to the Shirahama beach. Cleanliness is perfect too but I gave it 4/5 because the rooms are not soundproof. We can hear the footstep from the corridor and above room. The service is perfect too. There is a shuttle bus for the hotel and they let us in from 2:30pm although the actual check in time is 3pm. The staff will wait for u at the front door to give you towel when you come back from the beach. As for the amenities, they have massage services (need additional cost), pool, onsen and etc. But we didn’t use most of the, so don’t know about their quality. So I gave it 4/5.

Wonderful service. Very nice staff who introduced where is the best place for seeing Sakura. Chinese speaking staff Ms. Lin super nice. The outdoor hot spring is perfect! Big 7-11 nearby. Breakfast fired fish must try! All rooms sea view and very clean. Big car park. Highly recommend and will come again! 5 stars!

Good location to go the beach but not many food choices nearby

very nice hotel,nice view from room,..in front of white sand shirahama beach...so very famous beach in izu peninzula not so far from tokyo..so gorgeous restaurant hall...especially the huge stage and lightning and feel the japan atmosphere hotspring,one day is not enough to scroll the area co'z there are so many tourist spot around,..izukyu hotel is luxurios hotel in izu peninzula but not prizy,..thanks always trip.com for selecting gorgeous spot to relax...keep up d gud work

First of all I want to say overall very like to satisfy the old-fashioned hotel but very clean and tidy, the staff are very friendly and polite. The entire hotel and rooms are very spacious and very large. The location must be driven, across the street there is a very beautiful beach, the shrine is only 3 minutes drive. Breakfast and dinner portions are enough and delicious now the price is very affordable.

The hotel front desk does not speak Chinese, but will patiently explain with a translator. The room is spacious and you can see the sea. When the weather is good, you can see the sunrise, which is very beautiful. The hotel's breakfast and dinner must be booked in advance at the front desk. The hotel has a scheduled bus to and from Izukyu Shimoda Station. You need to check the hotel bus time and the station departure time. The hotel drives to Shimoda Station for about 20 minutes. You can walk down the second floor of the hotel and cross the road to reach the beach. You can watch the sunrise on the beach. We walked out of the room at 5 am and arrived at the beach. We saw a beautiful sunrise on the sea. There were also several people surfing, which was spectacular. The hotel can take a hot spring bath, which is separated from indoor and outdoor. The waiters are quite old, but they are all very enthusiastic and patient. I originally booked 3 people to stay, but later 2 people checked in for some reasons. After the hotel found out, it took the initiative to contact Ctrip to refund me.

The hotel's swimming pool is very nice and clean. My kids like it very much. I will stay here for two days next time. The breakfast is also good. Although I am not used to the strong fishy smell when I arrive, it is normal to have grilled fish in Japanese breakfast. Locals eat it, but I am not used to it. The breakfast is still good. Although the hotel is quite old, the hot spring is also good. It is very clean. It is cleaner than Kame no I where I stayed the day before. I was soaking in Kame no I with double eyelid stickers floating in the hot spring... The hotel is also close to the beach, which is very convenient. I can wash my feet when I come back and then go back to the hotel.

The room is Japanese tatami, quite big, facing the sea, with a great view. The hotel is of the same standard as the old 4-star hotel, basically pretty good. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to the beach and 7-8 minutes to walk to Shirahama Shrine, very convenient. Worth recommending

The hotel's sea view room has a great view The sand at Shirahama Beach is very fine The downside is that the hotel does not provide taxi service, so for those of us who do not speak Japanese, we can only travel by bus. The hotel's shuttle bus to Kyushimoda Station ends at 3:10 pm. So if you want to go to Kyushimoda Station for dinner, you have to take the bus. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but very clean. There are two swimming pools, about 2 minutes walk from the beach There is a convenience store below the hotel, which is very convenient But there are not many restaurants nearby

The hotel is good because you can walk down to the Shirahama coast. The breakfast and dinner are the worst among all the hot spring hotels I have stayed in. Even the sashimi is not tasty! This is hard to imagine! Moreover, the meal is in a place like a super large banquet hall, with a lot of people, and there is grilled fish on site, which smells like smoke!

The hotel is in a great location, just across the road from the beach, and next to a 7-11. There is also a shuttle bus from Shimoda Station to the hotel. But the only downside is that you can't add dinner and breakfast after 5 o'clock. If you want to eat, you can only buy it at 7-11 and eat it.

It's average, the hardware is very old, if you only want to go for the hot springs and the sea view, it's OK, but it's not recommended for accommodation alone. It's also a long way from Mount Omuro

I stayed in a Western-style room with a view. The real thing is much better than the photos. It was very comfortable to stay in. The hotel is in an excellent location, opposite the Shirahama Beach. I used the hotel bus and public transportation to travel, and also visited the Shimoda Aquarium. I booked a one-night stay and two-meals package. The hotel's dinner was very filling, but the taste was ordinary, and the breakfast was OK. There was a lady who could speak Chinese at the front desk, and the service was very warm and thoughtful.
