It’s a fantastic getaway for family specially with your family. You enjoy the location it’s quite nearby the Mall Road though walking from The Mall Road to hotel is advisable but you should ask the Driver to Drop you at the lift. 140 years old British Era property with a fantastic human touch, Hospitality is on next level, While Enjoying our Breakfast we requested Chef Raj Kumar Bhatia to surprise us with a Himachali Dish he made Special Chilta for us which we will remember as & when we will visit Himachal again. The server Mr. Sahil was on his toes for anything we asked. A stay of memories we treasured here. Thanks Oberoi’s

I had been coming to Shimla for quite sometime. In fact first time I visited the place was in 1988. The visits to Shimla continued ever since and became more frequent from 2008. My first choice always had been the The Clarke’s Oberoi. Unfortunately it’s closed for renovation and I ended up booking at the The Oberoi Cecil. It’s for the second time I stayed at The Oberoi Cecil. I am yet to check out but this note is to say heartfelt thanks to the team at The oberoi Cecil. The lady General Manager is quite friendly and gave us an upgrade. This was just the start. Being a foody, I was quite sceptical whether team at the Cecil will be able to match the hospitality of The Clarks. To my surprise, yes they are. It’s almost 4 days now and all the in Mexicans off menu requests have been accepted and acted upon with smile and grace. I must mention the name of Sahil, Gaurav and Nupur for taking excellent care of us. A big big thank you to Sous Chef Mr. Rajkumar Bhatia for excellent hospitality extended at the dining area. He had been excellent in arranging foods of our choice. I had long conversation with him and I found him quite a helpful person. Whether he is on duty or not, he is happy to ensure that we get what we wish for. To sum up. I am having a great time at the The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla. Warm regards, Amit

My stay at The Cecil Oberoi Shimla was nothing short of amazing. The service was outstanding, the rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and the facilities were excellent. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.We were welcomed with a cake & decorated room for our special occasion. Food was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again!

Top hotel with wonderful food and service in a fantastic setting, a must tay location.We both fell ill one day with flue like systoms, and the staff could not do enough for us, including bring us gifts and a get well card. Never experienced such excellent service anywhere else in the world.
