If you’re looking to unwind amidst the tranquil beauty of the hills, De Exotica Crest in Theog is the perfect getaway. I recently stayed here with family, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable—just far enough from the hustle of Shimla, yet easily accessible. Surrounded by dense forests and scenic mountain views, the atmosphere is calm, fresh, and incredibly rejuvenating. Rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully done with modern amenities. The private balconies offer breathtaking views of the valley and sunrise—ideal for a morning coffee or evening unwind. The staff is extremely warm, polite, and always ready to help. Special mention to the hospitality team for their prompt service and genuine care. The restaurant serves a good variety of food—from North Indian to Himachali dishes. Everything we tried was delicious and freshly prepared. Their hot chai and pakoras in the evening chill were a treat! There are also cozy spots around the property to sit, relax, or take short nature walks. It’s an ideal place for couples, families, or even solo travelers seeking peace. Highly recommend De Exotica Crest if you’re planning a trip to Theog or looking for a quieter alternative to crowded hill stations. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a wonderful stay at De Exotica Crest! The location is peaceful with breathtaking valley views. Rooms were clean, spacious, and cozy. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, and the food was delicious. A perfect getaway from city chaos—highly recommended for anyone visiting near Shimla!

Just 12 Kms from Kufri, on an excellent location. Pleasant Temperature in April end. Quick Check-in and Check-out. Complimentary upgradation of rooms on 2nd day of stay. Best thing of this hotel is the Food Taste and Quality. Credit goes to the Head Chef for preparing delicious and customized food items. Staff is polite and provides excellent Service. Ample Parking space with good accessibility throughout the hotel permises. Garden Area is lacking, and no adventure or game activity area, that could be the major disappointment if one has to prefer long stay in the hotel, as hotel is located on NH, but a bit secluded place. Rooms are lacking balconies. Overall a good value for the price.

I found this hotel is overrated for the money. Staff is not trained. Amenities provided only on ask. Listed many amenities provided none. There is no bath tub, but MakeMyTrip listed bathtub in amenities. There was no hot water for any guests in one morning of my stay. Good thing area of room is big. Located very well.

Best view with amazing food. A must visit place, I would rate 5 on 5 for food, accommodation and staff behaviour, staff is very cooperative and I feel very comfortable from entry, well trained staff and well experienced kitchen staff cook according to your preferences
