I personally think the location is convenient, it's about a 10-minute walk from the station. The mini bar in the lobby provides many coffee drinks and snacks, which guests can take and enjoy as much as they want. There are also many books and magazines that can be enjoyed in the lounge area or even taken back to the room. Ice cream is also available, as well as draft beer and high ball. In the evening, snacks are also available for a period of time. You can also take them back to the room. Of course, everyone takes an appropriate amount. There is no shortage. It’s just that dinner is usually eaten. In hot spring hotels, The dinner was basically very flashy, and there was also a bunch of all-you-can-drink wine, so I didn’t go to get the mini bar because I was too full. There are endless facilities in the hotel, including billiards, game consoles, and children's play areas, so there are many parents and children staying there. Adhering to the characteristics of a hot spring hotel, they encourage you to wear yukata and slippers in the hotel. The color of the yukata is also beautiful. My favorite part is that there are about 6 massage chairs and there is no queue at all. The preset time is 15 minutes, but because it was never fully booked, I just lay there for 30 minutes after the hot spring bath until dinner time. The only flaw is that the room has a sea view. Maybe because I live on the second floor and was assigned to an annex, the view is not that great, but the sea is still beautiful. The room is also large and comfortable, and has projection equipment for watching YouTube and Netflix. The overall rating is high. While writing the review, I already miss it and want to go back and stay again🤣

hello. The staff are very friendly. The reception I received at the door was touching. They also provided detailed explanations of how to use the facilities. The free beer and drinks were very good. The quality of the meat provided for dinner was very good. The view from the second floor bathhouse is amazing. I will use it again next time.

The balcony sea view room has an amazing view. Eating and drinking are boring. Shimabara is also so beautiful that it leaves me speechless. Worth staying.

We stayed with a family and two small children. The kids seemed to enjoy the treasure hunt, shooting gallery, game center, and pool! It was fun to have all kinds of ideas packed into one hotel, but there were quite a few parts that made me think, how should I put it? For dinner, the kids had to make their own curry and ramen in addition to the cold kids' lunch. There were a lot of things that kids like, but there was no way they could eat that much. If that's the case, I would have been happier if they had just given us a plate of hot and delicious hamburger instead of the kids' lunch. The pool was fun with lots of swim rings, but the size of the swim rings was clearly not commensurate with the size of the pool (narrow), making it difficult to play. There were lots of novels that made me want to read them, but the customer base was mostly families with children, so I wondered if there were any adults reading them elegantly. I thought it would be better if they made each one a little more comfortable, without having to put in too much.

I visited Nampuro Hotel Grand Ocean 3 times and I requested a far end room on my second and third visit at no cost. I also recommended this hotel to a few friends. This coming Sept2024, i requested to use the same room. The hotel asked for 1100yen each person for that service. I could not find the price list on the website. A bit strange because the layout for those rooms were the same at least when i visited the hotel at 2018.

A very child-friendly hotel especially. They are also courteous in responding to inquiries in advance. The staff are attentive to every detail during your stay, and although the hotel is by no means new, there are many ways to keep guests entertained. Maybe the kids won't be able to play all the time even if they stay for a few days. There are provisions throughout the room to help you reach your itchy areas. The food is also delicious. Many hotels pride themselves on their buffets and drink bars, but many of them are not stocked or are cluttered, but this one is different. I think he probably checks it frequently. To be honest, the accommodation costs are high considering the location, and the shops are not very good. Also, it's noisy when there are groups of people. However, even after that, it is a very high level hotel. I would love to stay again.

Due to the typhoon, the hotel we had planned to stay at was temporarily closed, so we had to use it at short notice. Although it was a hotel specializing in children, the service was perfect. In addition to coffee and juice, alcohol such as beer is also free in the lobby. You can bring it into your room. The bath is also a very impressive open-air bath where the sea is so close to you. This day was especially dynamic with strong winds. Even in the open-air bath, ice cream, coffee, jelly, etc. are provided free of charge. For the evening kaiseki meal, leftover food was available for take-out, and for the morning buffet, take-out containers were prepared at the entrance of the restaurant. As he was leaving, he asked me, ``Did you make any mistakes?'' I sent my luggage home from the hotel, and it was well reinforced with cardboard. Although our plans were thrown off course due to the typhoon, spending the day at Nanpurou was the most satisfying day I have ever been on a trip (about 100 times).

I stayed here for one night for work. The moment I entered the building, I wondered what was going on here! It's like that. The walls were covered with books, there was plenty of space for children to play, there was a table tennis table, and for some reason there was a goat. From my room, I could see the entire Ariake Sea, I could watch You Tube on a big screen with a projector, and there was also a Nintendo Switch. It's an unusual inn. Although the building is quite old, it has been renovated and you can feel that they are trying to entertain the people who come. This time I was at work, so I just slept and ate breakfast, but it made me want to come again with my family. The best part was definitely the bath. It was great to relax in the hot water while looking at the Ariake Sea. You can enjoy coffee and popsicles in the bath. It was a unique inn that you wouldn't find anywhere else.
