Gold course view to wake up with and easy walk nearby. Evening can be filled with using the cafes nearby. Good veg thali if u wanna try local food. Basic hotel with good services. Staff as always courteous and the area gives a view of less traffic to roam around.

The Golf Retreat has points in favour and against, based on which one may take a call to stay. The super deluxe room size is moderate though well-maintained. There also is a heater available which is helpful during winters. The room tariff still seems high and could be lesser by about 20%. Well-located not too far from the major travel areas within Shillong. Traffic in the city could be a lot on some weekdays though due to ongoing road works. There strangely was an issue with the basin tap which never got rectified during our 2 night stay. Had to manage with a workaround. The bathroom was otherwise decently maintained. The breakfast, though limited, was good with the aloo paratha being particularly well prepared. The hotel staff was prompt in attending to our regular requirements.

This hotel overseas a Golf course. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are clean. Rooms have heaters, which is good in the cold climate. Hot water facility is available for 24 hours. Food at the restaurant is average. The complimentory breakfast can have more variety. Overall a decent hotel.

This is for everyone knowledge that this hotel is located in an amazing place with amazing view and clean rooms.but the front desk reception girl is very rude and unprofessional. Also they are doing a fraud by saying that room no 302 has AC which they dont have.when u come in the hotel in the hot summer of july and look for an ac,they will provide you an old musical stand fan. And when you tell them that the facilities of Ac was written on makemytrip website,they will say that they are providing an stand fan instead. So guys please check the rooms before you book. I might have reviewed the hotel earlilar but maybe it got deleted by mistake.

Fraud. This place is a fraud.they will mention that room have ac facilities but they will provide u a table fan instead.not even a cieling fan.a non ac room without an ac or cieling fan without breakfast will cost h dearer by 4000. Also the reception is so rude that when u ask them to upgrade or change the room they will say that we should be happy with a broken table fan they provided

This hotel oversees the massive golf course. Hotel has around 15 rooms, some of which have balcony. Check-in was quick. I had already booked and also made the payment earlier. Room was very spacious with a big, clean bed. Limited toiletries were given (soaps, shampoo, bath gel) Bathroom was very clean but quite small with a curtain separating the bath from the commode and the sink. Hot water was available all the time from the geyser. Food at the restaurant was very delicious, though they had limited items on the menu. Vegetarian food was also prepared well and without any other aroma. When it comes to taxi services, it would be better to hire a good taxi service from outside. For the price point, it is an excellent choice with a very good view.

this place will have a peace of your heart. Genuinely a place to stay while in Shillong. Good, ambience and clean rooms no less than a 5 star hotel. A highly recommended place for a full north east experience. From the owner till the staff all very well behaved gentlemen who just make your experience a best one.
