We stayed with a couple. The staff service was good and the facilities were a bit old, but the large rooms were able to spend a relaxing time looking at the mountains. A long-established hot spring inn near the stone steps of Ikaho Onsen. It has a reputation for warm hospitality. The characteristic is that there are two entrances, and you can enter from the stone steps side as well as the usual entrance. In many inns, there are many movements in the building with slippers, but since the whole building is tatami mats, you can walk barefoot in the building. The food was delicious and the amount was appropriate. The bathhouse was also large enough to relax. On the other hand, although it is a family saying because it is a good inn, there were some staff who were still developing in their behavior. I would like to expect that I will grow up as a good staff with good teaching from my predecessors. There was also a machine in the room for massage of my feet. I think the massage machine after the bath is cleaned frequently, but I was a little worried about the sanitary condition of the machine in the room. Because it is a thankful consideration, I think that it was able to use it more comfortably if there was a display such as ”cleaned”.

The building itself certainly looks like Taisho, but it's a pity that it's not maintained. I stayed in a room called [Omatsu], but overall it was a little dirty and more than 10 shoji were torn. 90% of the employees are foreigners, and although I am doing my best, I often couldn't communicate well. This has to be crushed one by one and explained, which is troublesome. The foreign staff explained something at the time of the meal, but I didn't know what I was saying at all. I think the person who is saying also understands the content and doesn't talk. The room was cold and I had you prepare an oil fan heater, but there was little kerosene and I felt very cold at midnight. I hope you don't get stingy in a place that can't be helped. Overall, it was a subtle inn with a lack of hospitality, just because the building has a history. I think Ikaho's golden hot spring itself is a wonderful hot spring, so I recommend other inns.

With its location along the famous stone stairs and its access to abundant ”golden hot spring water”, one can easily tell this is a long-established hotel in Ikaho. And this is the reason for my choosing to stay here since it is not easy to find onsen hotels that offer ”natural flowing water” nowadays (onsen water will be ”recycled” in many hotels). If one's purpose for coming to Ikaho is for their good water, Kishigo will be a good choice because they have three hot spring baths, and I particularly like the one detached from the main building, i.e. Open-Air Bath Gonzaemon no Yu. I got a Western style room with view of the stone stairs, nothing fancy, but I do not mind. As a solo traveller, I was not given the choice of dining at the hotel when making the booking. It worried me a bit at first since I always enjoy having traditional Japanese dinner in onsen hotels; and with this being my first visit to Ikaho, I did not even know if there is any restaurant in the area (shops in most onsen towns close at 5pm or earlier). It worked out all right in the end for there are restaurants, and I went to one that is just a minute's walk from the hotel. Dining out also meant I had more flexibility in spending time on a stroll around the area and relaxing in the hot springs.

Wifi: Excellent 4. Location: Lawson and Maebashi station is just 5 mins walk. 5. Parking: the hotel has a limited car park space. If the carpark’s full, you will be directed to park at Aquerus building, just next to Maebashi station. You get to pay 600 ¥ per night at Aquerus. 6. Things to know: Despite the fact that it looks like a three-star basic hotel, don’t let that fool you. The hotel offered lots of freebies. You can eat a complimentary ramen from 22:00-24:00. You also can take complimentary ice creams and probiotic drinks (opened at certain time period) in front of bathing facilities. There’s an onsen facility if you want to have a nice relaxing hot bath. Don’t expect the hotel staff to speak fluent English here, though.

1 minutes walk from Maebashi Station. For resource protection, amenities are styled to bring what is necessary from the lobby. Including these, facilities and facilities are available. Check-in was also promised and there was not much time, but I was able to explain quickly and easily. The room was large enough for a single, with a large mirror, massage chair, and a steam for beauty, and a lot of service for women. The coffee cup was also fashionable and I was very satisfied with the service of the guests' eyes such as microwave oven and iron. The bedrock bath was booked at check-in and the time was 30 minutes, but it seemed that it could be booked even for an hour. The bedrock bath clothes and large towels were placed on the shelves of the powder room, and after use, they were returned to the box. I didn't buy alcohol from vending machines, but it's the cheapest and most conscientious I've ever seen. The rooms, corridors, spas, and bedrock baths were all perfectly cleaned in the hall. Traveling is my hobby, and I have stayed at many hotels and inns so far, but there are no hotels that are so clean 々. The self-service drinks in the lobby are authentic. The tea latte was delicious. Hotels that were introduced on TV and have good word of mouth sometimes disappointed that the actual situation was different 々, but I would like to recommend this hotel as well as repeat it.

There are free ice cream bars, free soba noodles during part of the evening, and free Yakult during part of the morning. Location: It is about a 12-minute walk from JR Takasaki Station to the hotel. There are many restaurants, shopping malls, and large Japanese supermarkets nearby for shopping. If you buy a JR Tokyo wide pass, taking JR from this location to various ski resorts (such as Goetsu Yuzawa and Karuizawa) is less than half an hour's drive away, which is very convenient!

Just opposite the Yamada Electric Appliance outside Gaoqi Station, there is a land bridge that can be crossed without crossing the road. The price of the house is also attached to breakfast. It is very recommended to take the North Lu Shinkansen, Shangyue Shinkansen, my wife line and so on to the light well, Tangze, Xinyi, Caojin and other places. Avoid expensive accommodations in resorts and don't have to pull luggage frequently to change hotels. Suitable for JR pass travelers.
