Not only the hotel, but the entire Ikaho service staff are mainly Japanese seniors. There is a built-in izakaya inside the hotel. There may be few people when I go there. Only my friend and I had dinner that night. I thought it was closed. When we saw we were about to eat, everyone opened the door for the two of us and managed it. The grandfather of the izakaya was very, very enthusiastic. Obviously we only ordered two bowls of ramen😂 They just sent two glasses of orange juice, two bowls of rice, and the sauce they made. They said they were delicious and must be tried. Taste it. Finally, when we left, we gave us two more glasses of wine for us to take back to our room and drink slowly 😂 The hotel also has a bathing area, and there are really very few people, which is equivalent to booking a place with my friends. The overall experience is still very good, I hope this store will get better and better🤣

It is located in the middle of the famous Shijie Street in Yixiang. It is not very friendly for tourists who take public transportation and carry boxes. The road on the side will take a while to arrive, and it will be too tired to move up the stairs. However, the location of the entire hot spring town center is really unbearable. There is a soup at the door, which is an experience for many tourists. For the residents, there are three public baths and four private baths (feeling around 40, 50 minutes at around 3,4000 baht). The springs are different. One of the hot springs in the other is the most comfortable and the spring is the best. I stayed one night with my wife and three children. Both breakfast and dinner are delivered to the room, and although it was written that the dinner was ”less”, my husband was full! The children's rice was also arranged like a children's lunch, and my son was very satisfied, saying, ”The fried chicken is very delicious!” The side dishes are of course delicious, but the rice was so delicious that I ended up getting a second serving (laughs). , Above all, everyone was smiling and friendly, but they kept an appropriate distance, so I was able to spend a comfortable time during my stay. It's undeniable that the building is dilapidated, but the scenery from the window is wonderful from every room, the hot spring water is smooth and comfortable, you can choose from various types of shampoo, soap for babies, crib, diaper disposal. I felt that they were thinking about their customers, such as the trash cans being provided. I had planned on visiting different places in Ikaho Onsen, but ended up venturing not far from Chigira Jinsentei Ryokan because I kept wanting to head back. The convenient location of the hotel and the views from all angles were incredible. It is literally right in the middle of the stone stairs. All the shops are around you, and you can see snow covered mountains far away. The hot spring is probably the best in all of Ikaho comparing volume of free flowing hot spring to the number of guest rooms. There is one indoor bath (alternate between male/female everyday), one outdoor bath, and 4 free private baths all equipped with sink/AC/Heating units, hair dryer and two little seating areas. The quality of baths alone made me want to return over and over. A lot of thoughts were put into the food and the presentation was wonderful. But we felt the speed of serving was quite slow. Maybe we were just very hungry lol. The room itself was like a movie set. We felt like we traveled back in time (in every sense of the word : only one free electrical plug). It was so beautiful we spent the first 20 min taking pictures. In all, I wouldn't chose another place to stay if I ever visit Ikaho Onsen again.

LLinguanVery traditional ryokan, the interior is very strong Japanese style.
The location is far from the attractions, if you take the bus, you can take the sunny and then walk to the hotel.
The hot spring is a personal soup and an appointment system, but even if there is no appointment, there is a public pool to soak, both are very good.
The breakfast is quite large, it may be a little more for one person, but it is delicious and it is impeccable^^
The proprietress and the boss are very friendly and kind. When I went there, I chatted a lot with the proprietress very happily, so that I kept a very good memory in Yixiang. I will visit again if I have the opportunity.

Nnavi.wIn order to go to Shiosei Initial D, I went to Ikaho Onsen for the first time and booked to stay here. I spent three days and two nights in a row, and the dinner and breakfast dishes were different every day! Awesome! This is a hotel in the area that is over a hundred years old. It has a long history and has been renovated.
Transportation: Take the Ikaho Onsen Line from Shibukawa Station for half an hour. If you catch the express bus on time, you will arrive within 10 minutes.
The hotel is right next to the main bus station of Ikaho Onsen. When you arrive, you will be greeted by staff outside the entrance. Everyone in the hotel has to take off their shoes before entering. The shoes will be kept in the shoe cabinet outside, which is very Japanese hotel style. When checking in and explaining in the lobby, you will be asked when you will have dinner and breakfast, which is very considerate. Then directed to my room. I felt very comfortable as the staff guided/explained very politely. I stayed in a corner Western-style room on the 5th floor, which was half a floor away. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The good thing about the in-room facilities is that there are plenty of sockets, which are useful for charging smartphones. It's just that there is no bathroom in the room. I have to go to the large bathing room on the first floor to take a bath. I just find this inconvenient. Dinner is served in the venue on the 2nd floor with a handwritten menu. The staff explained each item politely and cared about getting enough rice, which was very delicious! This is a perfect service. Dishes were a local selection of meat, fish and vegetables, allowing us to enjoy local produce. Drinks are available at an additional cost and a la carte dishes can be ordered separately. Regarding the breakfast the next day, the portion was very large and very satisfying. Especially the steamed vegetables are very delicious. Even at breakfast, the staff was very friendly and polite, providing bathing information and asking if I need to clean the room that day? I said no. Very considerate, I enjoyed the large bath on the 1st floor, the open-air bath on the 8th floor, and the private open-air bath. The men's and women's hot springs will change venues sooner or later, which is great! Note that only the large bath on the first floor has shampoo and shower gel, so go to the large bath first. In addition to a large bathtub, the public bath also has a sauna and a cold shower. It was a bath that healed my body and mind. The hot spring is very hot and nice to soak in. You can enjoy different scenery in the open-air bath in the morning and evening. It is easier to see the scenery than renting an open-air bath. But the most enjoyable thing is to soak in the hot spring naked while admiring the beautiful scenery! After I soaked in the hot springs in the morning and returned to my room to rest comfortably, a thrilling and embarrassing episode happened. Suddenly someone (named the female manager Omori) opened the door to my room with a key. I had clearly told me that there was no need to clean it. I didn't realize that someone would come in the room. I was completely naked at the time. The scene was very sudden and embarrassing! She was embarrassed and said sorry and immediately closed the door. It was also the first time that a return incident happened to me. I didn’t feel uneasy or unhappy at the moment, I was just scared. When I came back to my senses, I just felt that the female person in charge made an unintentional mistake. Afterwards, when we met, she told me that she was very sorry. Opinions for this hotel: First, because I feel that if you want to enter the guest room, no matter whether there is anyone or not, you must knock on the door and say ”Sorry for disturbing you” before entering. The female person in charge suddenly opened the guest room door without saying anything and came in! Not very respectful. The second point is that I have communicated with the hotel staff that there is no need to clean the room. Did you make any mistakes in communication? The third point is that I don’t know whether the female person in charge is intentional or not, but the female person in charge is obviously not dressed to prepare room cleaning equipment. In addition, even if you insist on entering the guest’s room, you must ensure that the guest agrees and has already gone out. Implement. It is recommended that the room should be equipped with a back lock to ensure the safety of guests. I hope this hotel will learn from this to ensure that similar things don't happen to other guests. 
I will also consider staying here next time.

GGuest UserA long-established hot spring inn near the stone steps of Ikaho Onsen. It has a reputation for warm hospitality. The characteristic is that there are two entrances, and you can enter from the stone steps side as well as the usual entrance. In many inns, there are many movements in the building with slippers, but since the whole building is tatami mats, you can walk barefoot in the building. The food was delicious and the amount was appropriate. The bathhouse was also large enough to relax. On the other hand, although it is a family saying because it is a good inn, there were some staff who were still developing in their behavior. I would like to expect that I will grow up as a good staff with good teaching from my predecessors. There was also a machine in the room for massage of my feet. I think the massage machine after the bath is cleaned frequently, but I was a little worried about the sanitary condition of the machine in the room. Because it is a thankful consideration, I think that it was able to use it more comfortably if there was a display such as ”cleaned”.

The hotel is on a slope, so it has its own characteristics. It’s really nice to cross a small road next to the hotel and go straight to the middle of Time Street. The hotel provides special toothpaste and toothbrushes for children, as well as cute towels and bathrobes. Both the clerk and the shop owner were very kind and gave a lot of help, taught how to ride the bus, and always asked to pay attention to the bus time.お丁宁にありがとうございます. We went there just in time for the construction site next to the hotel, so we couldn't go to the outdoor bath. The boss gave ice cream and wine as compensation. GGuest UserThe building itself certainly looks like Taisho, but it's a pity that it's not maintained. I stayed in a room called [Omatsu], but overall it was a little dirty and more than 10 shoji were torn. 90% of the employees are foreigners, and although I am doing my best, I often couldn't communicate well. This has to be crushed one by one and explained, which is troublesome. The foreign staff explained something at the time of the meal, but I didn't know what I was saying at all. I think the person who is saying also understands the content and doesn't talk. The room was cold and I had you prepare an oil fan heater, but there was little kerosene and I felt very cold at midnight. I hope you don't get stingy in a place that can't be helped. Overall, it was a subtle inn with a lack of hospitality, just because the building has a history. I think Ikaho's golden hot spring itself is a wonderful hot spring, so I recommend other inns.

I was there to explore Gunma mountains and this is one of the best western style hotel I can find that is close to train station. I do have to say the hotel is very old but everything still good for me. The single room is small but it has everything I need. Their 8 floor dining area for breakfast was so awesome as you have a wide view of the town and mountains around it. Breakfast is acceptable and I don’t have any complaints about it. What I like a lot is that they also provide free curry rice every weekdays excerpt weekend and public holiday. Although the curry rice is very simple without any meat, but it was so comforting to eat it. There’s also an onsen that you can use it, and a common room with comics, massage chairs and old school computer to use.
