Shenzhen Nanshan District 4-star Hotels

this hotel is good at facilities except air conditioning. spacious, with free soft drinks provided. hairdryer, fridge, tv, toothpaste and toothbrush 🪥, they have got all except the air conditioning works at times, staff is helpful. overall high cp value

A professional hotel, clean and comfortable room, efficient service, snacks provided free and daily. The hotel is close to Dasha River, we enjoyed pleasant walks along the riverbank. The washing machine in the room is super. It’s so easy to use and even dried my washings.

The hotel was conveniently located, just a short walk away from the nearest metro station and along the same metro line as some key attractions. Decent food options were located in the area as well. The hotel cleaning staff and receptionists were kind and attentive and helped me out with some of my own logistical issues. Special mention to leo and eva, as well as the staff who provided timely assistance when I required it.

Great location, foreigner-friendly” This is a pretty new hotel with contemporarily designed facilties managed by professional staffs. It is a less than 8-min walk to the nearest Metro Station. Nearby restaurants are top-notched in services and food quality. I felt very comfortable during my stay and will 100% recommend.

I love the hotel. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room provide good ventilation and lighting. I particularly like the bed sheets and quilt covers in the room, which are very clean and flat. The breakfast is rich, and there are many restaurants of various flavors around. The hotel lobby provides free freshly ground coffee, which tastes pretty good. Staying in the hotel, you can take a few subway stops to Happy Coast and Shenzhen Bay Park. The location is between Shenzhen Port and Qianhai Sam. The direct connection is very convenient, the room price is very affordable, and parking is free when friends come over. The lobby manager said that the hotel will provide a free shuttle bus to the Shenzhen Bay Port in the near future. Guests need to go to the front desk to make an appointment. I plan to stay again during the Spring Festival holiday. I hope I will increase the room rate.

The stay was overall an good experience. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was big. The breakfast was a little disappointing, not much variety of food but the noodle stall’s staff was very attentive to customers requests. The gym was okay, comparing to other similar ranking hotels, it had quite a variety of machines for customers to use. Another improvement point would be on the towels in the room and gym as they were very dirty and yellowish.

Miss Jovana 黃永怡 of front desk is excellent and very helpful to me (Mr Lim) and my wife (Miss Tam). We stayed one night on 2 July 2025. We like the modern style and cleanliness of the hotel. All staff are nice with big smiles including Miss Amber and many others. We hope to return soon.

The venue is good, quiet and suitable, the facilities are great, the environment is elegant, the transportation is convenient, the cost performance is high, the location is good, the price is affordable, the front desk Xiao Fan is enthusiastic and the hygiene is very clean ~

The Icon Lab Aiken Hotel is conveniently located in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen. It is within a few minutes walking distance of the large MIXC mall, which in itself is able to occupy you for a whole day & night. Plenty of shops, restaurants, exhibitions, an ice skating rink, coffee shops, and other larger and smaller facilities there, a great bakery, and a very nice al-fresco setting where you can - weather permitting - eat outside at the ample number of terraces. In the weekends it gets very busy, so do make a reservation if you can, or simply come early (5:00 - 5:30 pm) to ensure you don't have to wait in line or won't even be able to get a seat at all. The hotel is simple, clean, has nice sized rooms. Note that some rooms don't have windows, such as the Courtyard rooms (but no courtyard to look at, only a blind wall right outside your 'balcony'). The reservation is clear about that, so no complaint. Breakfast is available and has a basic choice of warm or cold food at a very reasonable price. The only negative comment is that noise from other rooms was very audible. Hence if your are sensitive to a crying baby or a couple having a louder discussion, you should be aware. The overall service is friendly. Good stay.
