Three Cranes Serviced Apartments

I wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either "Line busy" or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud "bang." The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.

Conveniently located. Nice staff. Friendly. Occasionally forgot to replace fresh towels and clear litter bin. Fast in response however. Flexible. Good breakfast.

Nice location, in the centre of sheffield. However very odd as no staff to be seen anywhere for the 2 nights we stayed- very much self service! Bar area was closed the whole time and no breakfast which was supposed to be included. Rooms definitely do not get cleaned, if they do very poorly as the bed had stains on and the dirt under the bed was disgusting. Fridge and sink were not clean. Bathroom had a damp smell as did the towels. Drains were disgusting, cobwebs in shower and no soap at all or toiletries for us to use. very disappointed. Not worth the money. The noise during the night was ridiculous, could hear every footstep and one room sounded like they were having a party all night.

Spent £200+ for a night in room 13. I would not call it luxury by any stretch of the imagination, basic. Very basic. Only a 4ft 6 bed. Thankfully there was a sofa bed and a very helpful chap called Joe came and set that up for me, hubby and I slept apart . there was a galley kitchen which ok, shower cubicle needed a good clean. it was the tiniest apartment I have ever seen. Definitely designed by a man. My advice is to book somewhere else. I was very grateful to Joe coming and setting up the sofa bed otherwise it would have been awful night on a tiny bed

Very disappointed with the accomadation. We were greeted with piles of laundry which used to be the check in area. We wasn't told that breakfast was cancelled. The room was dirty, dusty with splashes of dirt up the doors and walls. The floor was dirty with debris and the quilt cover was dirty. Under the sink we found a rubbish bin full of previous guests rubbish. This was originally a hotel when booked. The reviews do not reflect the accomadation at all.

It’s a fantastic location and very central. lovely and clean spacious apartment with a kitchen and living area and they couldn’t do enough to help you. Special Requests met and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

Stayed in this fantastic little hotel for the weekend with my husband while visiting Sheffield for a wedding and I was amazed how fantastic it was the rooms where clean and modern and had everything we needed, The bar area is so relaxing and looks amazing with a wide range of drinks and our breakfast in the morning was also amazing all made with local produce even the coffee is from a local company. Now on to the staff every single one of the staff I came in to contact with where spot on all had Local accents that was nice to hear in a hotel. We will be back and I just wish that there where more places like this around the UK THANKS THREE CRANES

I booked two rooms for the night before and the night of my wedding. I’d like to start with how lovely the hotel itself is. The rooms are a good size and are generally clean- when something wasn’t clean, it was cleaned when requested. The most disappointing aspect of the hotel is the staff. On arrival, we were rudely greeted by a man and told ‘I can’t carry your bag I’ve hurt my shoulder’ to my very pregnant bridesmaid. The stairs are incredibly steep otherwise we wouldn’t usually ask. We went down to the bar for a drink and again were spoken very rudely to by the same man. He told us that he was ‘sick to death’ of being asked about the arrival drinks as they’havent offered that in months’ we had received an email explaining you are welcome to a free arrival drink. We then asked the same guy about food as we had booked a reservation for 6pm. Again, from sat on his laptop, he responded with ‘well it would have been nice to have been told as I’m on my own… I’ll have to sort something’ At this point we got up and left and ate somewhere else. My hairdresser arrived in the morning and commented on how she was rudely greeted by staff. (I had informed the hotel about my hairdresser coming- the person who I spoke to via Facebook was super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us- whoever they were) I wouldn’t recommend the hotel due to the staff which is a shame because the hotel is lovely but unfortunately it ruined my experience of what should have been an exciting night for myself and my bridal party.

The staff are very helpful and the rooms are very nice. The location was within walking distance from the center and there was no inconvenience. There were also delicious restaurants nearby. I would like to stay again someday.
