The room is very big, one of the bigger rooms I have stayed in in the UK. But the hotel room facilities are very old and you can tell that it is an old hotel. But the experience is very good. Worth booking.

They charge nearly double what most hotels in the area do because there's a spa. But they charge extra for pool use after you get there, and you could visit it and pay the same if you're not a guest.
They also don't allow children in the pool most of the day, which didn't come up when I specified I was bringing a child. So we had no opportunity to use the pool.
It's also not the hotel advertised! ******************************************************************* you've probably seen this image they're using. It's not there! That's a nearby building they like the look of.
Moved the TV to the left so it aligned with the bed. Pic attached. Gross.
Wanted to take my card when we arrived. I know that's becoming more common, but it needs to be called out. I'd paid up front. Nobody needs my card details just in case they want to charge me for something.

1. The windowsills and tables are all dusty
2. The environment is OK, next to the church, not far from the city center
3. The service is very poor! The front desk was frowning and indifferent when checking in. I lost something in their hotel, and the price is not low! I contacted them an hour after checking out and said they didn't see it, but we are very very very sure it is in the room and told us the exact location, but they said they didn't see it and were extremely perfunctory when calling! May I ask if your hotel really didn't see it or is it bullying the Chinese or is there any other problem? ! Why don't you check every waiter strictly? I hope the hotel and Ctrip must give me an explanation for this matter!

It is a very nice hotel, spacious room and friendly staff. They listened to my request. I had requested for a room near the elevator because I have walking difficulties, and they managed to give me a room right opposite the elevator. Besides , the environment of the restaurant where we had breakfast was good, also quite a lot of food and choice of drinks. Many thanks.

The lobby feels good as soon as you enter it, the service is OK, the room is large, but the facilities are too old, the sofa, table..., very old-fashioned; the location is good and convenient for travel.

The attitude of the front desk was okay, but the receptionist asked for slippers in the room, which were not delivered the next night. There is no hairdryer in the room. Visited Sheffield for a work event, beautiful hotel in a great location. The room had a great view of the Christmas markets and was very spacious, also a free spa facility for guests. Would stay here again.
