DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City

I have used Doubletree Hilton in USA and this is much the same, including the cookie. Hotel was pleasant enough for what it was. Comfortable bed and warm room. The shower wasn’t very hot but acceptable. Breakfast was good but I thought £15 per night for car park a bit steep. Being next to the Sheffield United football ground I could understand the need to ration parking but this wasn’t a match day and there is not much close to attract drivers who might use the parking available.

Went for boogie bingo event and stayed over Had a fabulous night, couldn’t fault a thing Lovely hotel, beautiful room, amazing shower Event was so good, had great night with a group of friends, would highly recommend recommend Even got warm cookies on arrival Breakfast was lovely

I booked a night away for my wife’s birthday a spa package with a treatment the following morning when I check-in the lady at the desk had told me that I had not had a spa treatment even though one was showing on her computer I booked through Hilton and just because the main counter didn’t tell the spa About my booking there was no room to fit me in for my my wife’s treatment. The young guy from the spa who does the treatments basically told me Saturday evening Mr. Price enjoy your stay and we’ll do something in the morning when the morning came his tune changed and basically there’s nothing he can do an absolute joke. I will not be booking Hilton Sheffield ever again . Oh and as a apology for getting my wife’s birthday wrong they had the audacity to send me an email saying they are very sorry and they’re gonna put some points on my Hilton Honors account thank you very much Hilton.

We stayed here overnight for a show at the Arena across town. Parking was easy and the team found the rugby for us to watch on the TV before heading out. Both Emily and Krista were superb - predicting what we wanted and providing excellent service for the whole family - well done and thank you!!!

Everything about this hotel was a joy. Reception, the lifts, the room, the bar, the restaurant/breakfast area and most importantly the staff. A huge shout out to Khushboo who was the consummate professional - and cheerful and pleasant too She tolerated all my requests with a smile. Give that girl a pay rise, Management

We booked in Last minute due to our original booking at a studio apartment we had arrived at and was what I could only describe as a hostel so we immediately left and booked in with these guys! Customer service was absolutely brilliant, she made us feel welcome from the minute we stepped through the front doors. The room was absolutely beautiful, and me and my fiance had the best night sleep! We also got a text message through on the app from the receptionist asking how our room is for us 10 minutes after arriving which I thought was very thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel we will definitely be coming back again!
