It’s long!… We chose this hotel from the great reviews it had, and glad we did! It was our first visit to Eygpt, and it didn’t disappoint! We found the Egyptian people to be some of the most welcoming and kind natured people we have come across. The staff at this hotel work tirelessly to give us a fab holiday, all the waiters were amazing, especially Michell , he was so caring when I got the dreaded gippy tum, he recommended an eygptian natural remedy of anise tea which really helped, he asked me every day how I felt, he is the kindest man, and Ahmed the waiter was very close behind tbh, he was the same, really lovely fellas Tarek the lifeguard too , he’s lovely! He used to move our sunbeds into the sun for us and make pillows from towels! Him and my husband got on like a house on fire ! Ibrahim also deserves a mention as he was our housekeeper and did a wonderful job, he’s a sweet quiet man and also so kind! Food, was ok, in fairness there’s loads of choice, but it’s not amazing , I did also get the dreaded tummy thing while at the hotel on 2nd day which meant we didn’t venture out properly. Stone grill is worth trying even tho you have to pay, the steak you cook yourself on the hot stone in front of you , it’s lovely steak ! That meal was delicious! Entertainment was by the HV staff and was amazing!! The voices of Milly, Georgia G and Reece was something else! And the dancing was so good by all of the hv staff, they really got everyone involved ! We tip well, and didn’t ever get asked to tip or made to feel like we should, these people work hard to give a holiday of relaxation and likely get paid quite low , we found a lot of people think once they paid their all incl why should they pay a penny more , that’s not right, a tip makes these people’s day! And changing up their coins is because they can’t change coins in their banks so they are useless tips to them. Be nice people !! I also can’t say I came across one member of staff that was at all rude like some reviews say? Maybe it’s the way you treat them and look at yourself first ?! From the main reception desk to the lifeguards, the waiters and the cleaners, all were lovely and friendly and always had a smile ! Swimming pools are cold ! Probs could do with being heated from 1st October , couldn’t use the swim up we paid for due to this Sea was no good for snorkelling as the pier is not long enough , but we did see a few pufferfish and a lion fish We had room 7101 which was nice and central , has the family divider and swim up , room was really nice, and huge! Only downside is we had a family constantly traipse over our private garden part which was really irritating so could do with signs saying don’t walk over others gardens and to use front door like you should ! Bobby the camel is lovely, and as his handler says , he doesn’t bite after you pay to ride him 🤣! All in all yep we would come back, in fact we are next October !
