My usual stay in Shantou is International Hotel although older but is exceptionally good . This time we decided to try out the newly opened Hampton by Hilton and we were very impressed with its use of latest technology eg : contactless card key which gives direct access to the floor level that one is staying with a swipe of card and prompt response from the housekeeping with the use of robot delivery. The front office staff are very helpful and informative and they helped us to book Didi to our destination when there are no taxis available. The breakfast is varied and good. Of course I still prefer the breakfast at the revolving restaurant on top of International Hotel

Sound proofing not great, but generally quiet after midnight. Pillows & mattress very comfortable. Robot delivered bottled water to room. However, there is only 1 lift that serves all 4 floors.

The wood of the two pillars of the bed is actually rotten. I found that it was shaken and I took it down casually 😂 Then it was full of sawdust, so I covered it silently... 2. The toiletries in the shower room have a strong fragrance, and it is not a well-known brand 3. There are really few options for breakfast, just an island counter + a counter for cooking noodles 4. No bathrobes are provided in the room The above four points are really not appropriate for a hotel with a price of more than 700 per night Environment: The hotel's location is very good, in the most lively small park block, it is convenient to go anywhere Service: Maybe the room is arranged next to the security passage door, and the cleaning tool room is also next to it, so you can clearly hear the movement after 12 o'clock in the evening, and the sound insulation is a bit poor Others are good, I hope the above points can be improved~
