Shantou Jinping District Hotels

Still craving Shantou cuisine since last summer, this was my second stay at the Golden Gulf Hotel. Its location is superb, being close to the city center and just a 10-minute walk from Longyan South Road Snack Street, which is bustling with eateries. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. Check-in was efficient and smooth. The rooms are spacious, elegantly and comfortably decorated. The bed was soft, the room was neat and clean, and came with all the necessary amenities. The hotel's fitness facilities are well-equipped, and there's also a heated swimming pool – perfect for working off all the delicious food after a culinary tour! I was delighted to meet 'Tuhao Ge' again; he was incredibly enthusiastic, recommending excellent dining spots and travel itineraries for the Chaoshan region. I'm truly thankful for the encounter! This time, I also had the opportunity to try the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. Every dish was freshly prepared by hand, making them healthy, fresh, and delicious. Overall, the Shantou Golden Gulf Hotel excels in its facilities, service quality, and location, making it an ideal choice for business or leisure travelers to Shantou. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The moment I opened the door, I heard the electronic lock emit a chord sound like a spring. The modern and simple design that came into view was in line with my aesthetics! The air was filled with the scent of wood! This artistic old money style homestay unfolded an immersive narrative about modern travel for me during my trip to Shantou in May. There was a former hotel concierge Golden Key in the store, who was very enthusiastic and provided very considerate service! He introduced all the delicious and fun places around! He also sent me an electronic map for me to browse! For me, a newbie in Shantou tourism, it was really practical! I overslept the next day, and the breakfast time of the homestay had already exceeded, but the beautiful girl at the front desk still asked the kitchen to prepare rice noodle soup for us! It was really considerate and warm! There was also a small gift (star towel) before leaving A very comfortable living experience! Looking forward to coming again next time! Facilities: very retro and tasteful! Hygiene: very clean and tidy

My one-night stay at Atour in Shantou was fantastic. Firstly, the hotel boasts a superb location, incredibly close to Shantou MixC and Longyan South Road, both within easy walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, and the late-night millet porridge was a particular hit with our little one! Despite our family room window facing residential buildings, it was surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The room itself was quite spacious, and the laundry service was truly impressive. You simply place your clothes in the designated laundry bag, and staff will wash them and return them neatly hung on your door. The front desk staff who handled our check-in were also incredibly helpful and attentive! Seeing we had a child, they even offered us complimentary breakfast. I absolutely have to visit Shantou again! What a warm and welcoming city.

The guesthouse I stayed at this time was absolutely amazing! The location was so easy to find. It was convenient to get around; I could just ride an electric scooter and get there, saving a lot on transportation costs. The room was cozy, and the bed was soft and comfortable. Lying down there instantly washed away all the fatigue from a long day of travel. It was fantastic! I'll definitely come back next time and give it a five-star review.

Some very distinctive homestays, whether it is the decoration style, or the internal facilities and hardware are very good. All hair dryers are Dyson's, so it is very convenient for us to travel! The customer service staff is also very enthusiastic, very different from ordinary homestays, I feel that all aspects have been well taken care of! The geographical environment is also very good, just in the old city, the surrounding people are local, there is a small temple next to the residents, you can experience the question mark! There is a Shantou store downstairs that sells Shantou local specialties. It is very delicious. The friends who stay can try the nearby breakfast. Yongping soy milk is recommended! I am very satisfied with this stay, I hope I have a chance to come to Shantou again next time!

Good: location . Nearby has alot of tradition eateries. Lotus. Beside has dessert ahop. Below hotel has a tour agency so you  can plan with them after you reach. Room is clean. Staff is helpful . Daily toiletries are top up daily and room clean daily . Oppoaite lotus that stretch inside has alot of food… price is cheaper for food at This area.  Eat goose and steam rolls… beef noodle soup… traditional teochew food!  Hotel has washing machine cum dryer . Please had didi apps to call cab… taking cab to MIXC area only 10-12 RMB. Cheap !  Can be improved : aircon not cold for me .. choose non smoking floor  alao. Water ahower pressure can be better .  Overall. A good experience . I stay 10 years ago and now o stay again. The hotel did improve on its internal decoration and design .

The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very nice and helpful including Oscar, Daisy and Joey. I will go back to this hotel for my next Shantao trip.

Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay. The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located in shantou old city , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again. The amenities exceeded my expectations. The facilities were modern, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private VIP big room facilities, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive. Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – cleanliness, service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

The location is excellent, right next to Shibaotai Park and very close to the Square Ferry. There is a farmer's market next to it where you can buy seafood and have it processed at the door. The parking lot is small, but it's understandable for a hotel next to the beach. The bed is definitely not 1.2 meters, it is estimated to be 1 or 1.1 meters. It is not recommended for children to play with. It is also very small during holidays and can be touched by turning around. The hotel must be old. The elevator is the one used in Hong Kong in the 1990s.

I just finished my perfect stay at this hotel and couldn’t help but write a good review to share with everyone! From the moment of booking, the hotel's attentive service makes people feel very comfortable. On arrival, the receptionist at the front desk was smiling and the check-in process was quick and professional.
