Shantou Longhu District Hotels

The place is damn awesome!!! And the boss is really caring & friendly. I gave him alot of trouble since the first day i booked but he still manage to keep up his good service toward us. We came here without doing alot of homework and he introduce us a lot of nice food nearby the homestay. Even helped us order food for supper. Where can we get the services like him at other place? Probably will book again if i got the chance to go for secong time 慢下来 去生活！！ P.S. did not manage to get a lot of photo coz it is raining!

Highly recommend! After a disappointing experience at our previous hotel and struggling to find a suitable place on any travel app, my friend and I decided to book this hotel on the spot. We thought a five-star hotel couldn't be too bad, but the relatively cheap price made us a bit apprehensive. To our surprise, it turned out to be a huge pleasant discovery! Firstly, the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable – the carpets were spotless, and every detail was well-maintained. Secondly, the service was excellent; they even offered us a complimentary local snack (Guozhi) and provided a shuttle service to/from Shantou Station. I must say, hotels with Hong Kong investment truly deliver professional service. For less than 400 RMB, you wouldn't expect much, but the Emperor Hotel made us feel like we deserved the best! The hotel is relatively old, so there aren't many power sockets, which meant we couldn't easily charge our phones by the bed while using them. But that's a minor detail and really a matter of personal preference. Overall, we're extremely satisfied and would definitely return!

Linda at the lounge was exceptionally warm and provided excellent service. In the evenings, she crafted special cocktails that were both visually appealing and delicious. Our room was upgraded upon check-in to a spacious one on the 25th (highest) floor, offering a fantastic view. Zora proactively contacted us by phone to inquire about our room preferences and even arranged a late checkout for us. The bedding was soft and clean, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties. The hotel's location is superb, surrounded by numerous dining options. The large Mixc City shopping mall is just a vibrant 5-minute walk away. For a city like Shantou, known for its relaxed pace, this hotel is an incredibly convenient choice for tourists.

The location is excellent, just a short walk away from Longyan South Road Food Street. The Mixc shopping mall is also conveniently located right behind the property. What truly impressed me was the abundance of thoughtfully placed power outlets in the room. It was incredibly easy to charge all my devices while relaxing, without any hassle or having to share. In this day and age, with how frequently we use electronic devices and the constant need for charging, this feature is a huge plus! While the room was compact, it was incredibly well-equipped, offering everything one could need. They even provided disposable face towels and a full set of toiletries, right down to disposable toilet seat covers, which was a very thoughtful touch.

After an unpleasant experience at another hotel, we decided to switch to this one last minute. The front desk staff immediately offered us lime juice with a warm smile during check-in, which instantly calmed my frazzled nerves. We had dim sum at the hotel that day, and it was delicious! Hotel guests get a discount, but since I wasn't a guest yet, I missed out – little did I know I'd be checking in right after! The room was spacious, with a bed, a coffee table, and a sofa. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. The view from the window was lovely. At night, you could faintly hear singing, but it stopped later on and didn't disturb our rest. This hotel truly lives up to its five-star reputation; it's leagues above smaller hotels. Plus, the airport shuttle stop is right outside, which is incredibly convenient.

The room was spacious but the cleanliness is to be much improved. Complained there was a cigarette in the bathroom (although its a non smoking room 😒). It was right at a obvious place but i flushed it down the drained. Stayed 3nights but they nvr took effort to clean. House keeping was not done, as the bed was quite mess. Breakfast.... Is a no but still edible. Service at the reception was great.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Shantou High-Speed Railway Station. The room arrangement was very satisfying; it was quite spacious and very comfortable to stay in. It even had a bathtub with the thoughtful addition of a disposable bathtub liner. The front desk service was impeccable, very enthusiastic. The hotel also offered rich activities, such as parent-child handmade Red Peach Glutinous Rice Cake (Hong Tao Guo) and Teochew opera performances during the National Day holiday. The staff were all very warm and polite. While waiting for transportation downstairs, they would proactively suggest places to visit and local specialties. I definitely have to give it a good review!

Superb service, staffs were very warm and helpful, hotel room is also comfortable and clean. Everything was good, my only feedback is that the hotel room should provide a mini refrigerator.

This hotel was an unexpected gem, truly one I'd wholeheartedly recommend. The lobby lounge boasts a modern, minimalist, and stylish design. The rooms are spotlessly clean and bright, and the service is exceptionally attentive. As I arrived early, the front desk was able to arrange an early check-in, and the housekeeping staff promptly got the room ready, instantly lifting my spirits after a hot and tiring journey. The breakfast restaurant is spacious and offers a wide variety of options. For the price, this level of quality was truly unexpected, offering great value for money. The location is also excellent, making it convenient to get around. It's very close to Zhujiang Road Food Street, and a quick taxi ride will take you to MixC Mall and Longyan South Road. Overall, it's superb, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

The hotel is brand new and beautiful! The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was also fantastic! But what truly stood out was the service. The hotel staff were excellent, and Ella, from customer service, was absolutely amazing! She contacted us a day before our arrival to understand our check-in preferences and arranged a room with a beautiful view for us. Her attentive, thoughtful, and enthusiastic service throughout our stay made our family trip truly delightful. We left with a wonderful impression of Shantou city! In Shantou, we also got to savor some incredibly delicious hotpot, 'sheng yan' (local raw seafood dish), and various other local snacks! I would highly recommend staying at the Shantou Marriott Hotel to all my friends and family. A huge thank you again to Ella for her exceptional service!
