It was a super quick 3-5 minute taxi ride from Shantou South Station. The front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient during check-in. Our room was easy to locate, offered a beautiful sea view, and came with complimentary disposable toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Parking was convenient and reasonably priced at 15 RMB for a 24-hour period, allowing unlimited re-entries. The water park is about a 10-minute walk away. While there are plenty of street food stalls surrounding the complex, they felt a bit touristy. For more local and authentic dining options, like claypot porridge, a residential area is just a 10-minute drive away. Considering the price, it offers fantastic value for money!

There's a front desk available. However, during peak tourist season with heavy traffic, the staff advised that guests typically call ahead to complete online check-in, so there's no need to visit the property in person. The service was excellent, and it made for a very pleasant holiday experience.

We had a short stay at an apartment in Shantou's Golden Coast. It's a rental suite within a residential complex, and all communication, including check-in, was handled remotely via WeChat. The apartment offers a nice sea view and was clean and convenient for drying laundry. As we were traveling with several children, we'd recommend the apartment provides some extra pillows and blankets.
