Brilliant hotel. Staff were exemplary especially the 3 girls who were receptionists but they were so versatile they engaged in all duties at the hotel nothing was too much for them. Well done girls.

A lovely nights stay at the Brunswick.
We made use of the bar, games room, pool and garden.
We enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast in the morning

We really enjoyed our stay at the Brunswick, which was the perfect base for our adventures around the island. The location is ideal, and we particularly found Andy, the Head Waiter (we hope we remembered his name correctly!) to be really friendly, accommodating and professional. The breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble, exactly what you want on holiday! Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance two out of three days of our stay so we didn’t get to use it as much as we hoped which was a shame but we understand that can’t be helped. If we were to be very picky it might have been nice to have had more than one plug socket in the room to charge our phones etc. but overall it was a wonderful stay!

The breakfast was good, friendly staff. We had twin beds and they were a bit narow. indoor pool good. Small suggestion trays would make it easier at breakfast.

We received a very warm welcome to the Brunswick. Our room was clean and comfortable, although the bed was a small double. Very generous with the tea and coffee making facilities. A very good range of breakfast choices. The hotel is close to Shanklin Chine, the old village and the beach. All within walking distance. And if you like the peal of church bells, you'll definitely hear them on Wednesday evenings!

Needs an upgrade - do not rely on website informat
Initial impression on arrival outside, reception and bar area good. Staff friendly. However the stairs and bedroom were very scruffy and in need of a total refurbishment.
The curtains were not hung properly so light came in very early, bed sheets did not fit. The outdoor pool was half full and full of debris. Whilst there the water was topped up but pool not cleaned. The sauna was out of action due to an incident with a child and the jacuzzi had not worked for a year according to receptionist.
This was booked as a birthday treat for my husband. The hotel website and your link described a high end restaurant ‘fine dining experience’ which I hoped to book for a birthday meal. However on arrival the only offering was basic bar meals and no food option on the Monday evening so had to go into local town in the rain to find somewhere to eat.
The hotel website is very misleading. If I had known all the above I would not have booked. I did suggest to the receptionist that they need to remove the present description of the hotel as it was not helpful. She replied they have a new website but the only ones I found waxed lyrical about the dining experience.
