Daish's Hotel

Daishs Shanklin nice hotel and area to stay .Friendly helpful staff room we stayed in very nice food was good and served quickly

Used many of the Daish hotels for their holidays over the years however booked for only 1 night in the Shanklin hotel as we were attending a family wedding on the IOW. We had high hopes as never had a problem and always received a warm welcome and friendly staff. We turned up at 11am knowing that it was before check in time but after travelling since early morning we were so disappointed when the reception lady couldn’t even bother to get up and speak to us and called us back to an open door so she didn’t have to move ! When I explained our predicament of a noon wedding and separate reception venue not interested, couldnt put our cases in the room a cupboard, reception or any where until 3pm . Totally disgusted how rude she was how she slouched in her chair relaxing! Not a good look Daish ! Decided not to stay phoned locally and a charming Hotel where more than delighted to have us freshen up in one of their rooms prior to check in time and to leave our luggage in until a room was ready for us ! Last time I will bother with DAISH absolutely horrendous customer service! Shocking!!!!!

Just spent 5 days there, very enjoyable, the hotel it self needs a some TLC , the cleaning was not the best in hall and stairs, food was acceptable, Ryan in the hall was just a delightful guy, second time I have been there and would go back again has love the situation of it, overall for the price you can’t complain, will hopefully be back again

I came here with my sister for a 5 day break with Buckleys holidays. We had a very comfortable triple room (for 2). Bathroom was small but functional. Not many plug sockets but we made it work. The hotels decor is a little worn and could do with a spruce up. However, the food was amazing, the staff in the dining room polite and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Staff on reception also very polite. In the evening there were lots of places to sit if you are not over keen on the entertainment. Not my thing but I know all my coach party loved it. Phil was the highlight of the bar, such a character and obviously loves what he does. It was a very enjoyable holiday.

Just hot home From 5 day break at bornmouth Sands hotel lovly hotel good choice food in good location staff friendly good entertainment at night bedroom little worn but bathroom was refurbished had lovly time the coach taking us home was in a hurry but we got home safe

Nice and clean loots of charm lovely garden The staff go out of their way to make your Stay a good one shout out to our waiter mat How was also very nice and funny Also Phil in the bar always makes a great effort with his quiz There is also bingo and live entertainment Dave Lee was brilliant
