Shanghai Jing'an District 3-star Hotels

We stayed 2N at room 335 (10-12 May 2025). Room was spacious, clean and bright with 2 double beds for 3 of us. We slept well, beds were comfortable and air con, lightings all working fine. Quiet neighbourhood. Location was abt a 400-500m to Zhong Xing subway, A few convenient stores around the hotel where you can get drinks and snacks. A few small eateries within 150m.  We absolutely love the hotel, they have washers and dryers (including detergent) free for hotel guests and big fridge selling drinks and mostly important the counter staff are super friendly. They used their personal mobile phones to help order takeaways for me and ensured I’m informed when the delivery has arrived.  We have a comfortable stay at the hotel and I highly recommend this hotel. It is near to Shanghai railway station and famous Nanking road and within 10mins walk to a big shopping mall (大悦城). Special thanks to the housekeeping lady who cleaned our room daily.

The hotel room is large and the beds are confortable. The only issue I had was that our room smelled of cigarette smoke when we got back and I asked the front desk to let us change rooms. Initially, they wanted us to sleep in the room for the night and change tomorrow. I insisted that we cannot sleep with the smell of cigarette smoke as we are alresdy having headache with the smell. That is when they told us that we can transfer to another room. Just a little disappointed with the service that they were not proactive to let us change rooms or get rid of the smell. The location has a great view of the river, but a little walk from the train station. They have free water bottles that you can request and the robot will come up to your door to deliver. Sometimes, the AI will not understand you and will just be quiet. So hopefully, this will improve and AI will respond that it does not understand instead of just giving the silent treatment. They also have free candies, teas, and amenity kits like comb, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. which you can freely get from the lobby. They also have vendo machines for drinks, instant noodles and some table games at the ground floor.

The hotel's location is truly fantastic! It's situated right by some local goats (what a unique touch!), and the quaint streets nearby are full of cafes by day and bustling bars by night. I loved starting my mornings with a leisurely coffee (or two), and in the evenings, after a refreshing shower, I'd often stroll back out for a nightcap. The plane tree-lined streets were perfect for a delightful city walk. Plus, it's a super convenient 5-minute walk to the subway station. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, and its facilities are well-appointed. The room size is average, though due to the weather, it was a bit damp. We had booked a 2-night stay that included an afternoon tea package, and I spoke with the friendly front desk staff to swap the afternoon tea for a day's breakfast. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

I got a great deal and this was amazing value. Hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. The hotel is nice - lobby is good and the robot that brings deliveries is nice. Although the staff couldn’t speak English they always tried with google translate. The cleaning of my room was good and efficient and I liked the free water bottles. Only thing was as my room was right next to the elevator it was quite noisy. But thank you Yitel! I had a great stay.

The hotel is in a very convenient position and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is a bit small but clean. The room smells when we checked in but the smell disappeared after opening the window to let the fresh air come in. The toilet and bathroom are exactly next to each other and it smells a bit moody. I lost one of the room access card and the staff said that’s ok. They also provided lots of bottled drinking water every day. Generally speaking, it’s a good experience.

The beds were really comfortable. Very clean. The neighborhood very convenient due there are many shops and restaurants. Very close to the metro station. The breakfast little, poor but is ok. In general the place is very good. I'll comeback definitely.

Hotel is convenient but there are using air centralise system which I not preferable. I wish to shut all window due to vehicle noise at night but the air system was running in warm mode I am sweat during my stay. 🥵. The toilet is transparent glass.... If you are not couple better.... 😏.. Washing machine is not free. If you have large and heavy lagguage the metro station does not have lift or elevator. So you need to bring down towards the stair. 😔.

Very nice cozy atmosphere lobby to sit in for coffee or just waiting for pick.up. Large master bedroom with a more than usual size walk in close for an aparthotel. Near subway line and there is KFC & Starbuck just back of the lobby building

A good stay overall. Location was relatively convenient give. Proximity to food, mall and metro. It was very hot, and our hotel room L shape does not make it easy for the one AC unit to make it cool. Sofa bed was not comfortable, but that’s to be expected. Has washer machine but no dryer, means it may take a while to line dry in damp weather as it was in July.

Great hostel! Close to the main train station, a little further from city centre but well connected. Good comfortable beds with privacy, free water and a nice common room to meet people in. Lots of food places in the surrounding area
