Shanghai Qingpu District 5-star Hotels

We had an awesome stay!! Winnie checked us in and she was so patient and friendly! She upgraded our room and asked if we need a late check out which is really sweat of her. Room was spacious and the bed was so comfy. Location is very strategic, within walking distance from line 2 metro. Highly recommended!

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip and it could not have been more perfect. The B&B was well maintained and decorated, providing many photo moments. In fact, they are so guest-oriented that the turning down service included heating up the bed as well as the floor. As we travelled during cold weather, it gave us the perfect end to the night. We also checked in and went to the restaurant on a boat, making it a complete Zhujajiao experience. The staff were all contactable via wechat to attend to our needs or provide advice. They were also very friendly, making tea for us and sat down for a chat. My wife and I were very well fed not just through the complimentary afternoon tea and the breakfast, but also the snacks that were placed in our room. The 1-time transfer to or from a nearby location also helped us alleviate any stress related to transport as they were taken care of by the staff.

This hotel is amazing for any travelers who are visiting the Shanghai hongqiao area. It’s a hotel that is not very large but has a big international breakfast as well as Chinese food. I have stayed multiple times as the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Normally staying here because it’s close to hongqiao railway station.

Overall impression: As a newly opened Hilton brand hotel, the first impression of Shanghai Hilton is ”new” and ”bright”. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the modern design, fresh smell and bright facilities all highlight its new identity. The overall experience exceeded expectations, and the details were carefully considered. Although there is still room for improvement in the service of a new hotel, the flaws do not outweigh the merits, and it was a pleasant stay. Geographic location & transportation: The hotel is actually a bit off-center. Although it is not absolutely in the core of the city center, the surrounding roads are wide, and it is very smooth to take a taxi or drive. The surrounding environment is relatively new and green. There are few large-scale commercial facilities for the time being, but the hotel's own facilities are sufficient to meet basic needs, and it is quiet. Design & environment: This is one of the biggest highlights of the hotel! The pictures I took fully demonstrate its modern and modern design style. The lobby is high and open, using a lot of stone, metal and lighting elements to create a delicate and artistic atmosphere. The design of the public area also maintains a consistent high standard, with elegant colors and sophisticated lighting, which is very photogenic. The spotless and design sense that is unique to new hotels runs through the whole process. Room experience: Space and layout: Room 1015 is of moderate size, reasonable layout, and efficient space utilization. Although there is no scenery, it is enough for business trips. Facilities and comfort: All facilities are brand new! The bedding is extremely comfortable, with a good balance of support and softness, and a good night's sleep. The bathroom space is separated into dry and wet areas, with a modern design, and the shower water pressure is strong and stable. But the water pressure of the bathtub is a bit weak. The smart toilet is a plus. The soundproofing effect of the room is good, ensuring a quiet rest environment. Details and technology: Equipped with an intelligent control system (lighting, curtains, etc.), it is easy to operate. Minibar, safe, ironing equipment are all available. There are plenty of USB charging ports to meet modern needs. Some details that I particularly noticed, such as the unique lighting design and textured decorations (if there are in the pictures, you can mention it, for example: ”The unique reading lamp at the head of the bed is both practical and adds a sense of design”), all reflect the design's care. The hotel uses Dyson hair dryers, which improves the quality, but the instant coffee used is a bit cheap, which I hope can be improved. Dining experience: Breakfast: Breakfast is on the first floor. The variety is good among new hotels, with a balanced selection of Chinese and Western styles. There are local snacks (such as xiaolongbao, shrimp dumplings, fried dough sticks, spring rolls) and Western baked cakes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is online. I especially like the freshly cooked noodles and eggs. The restaurant environment is bright and comfortable, and the service response is timely. Service: As a new hotel, the staff are generally warm and friendly, and you can feel their willingness to work hard to provide quality services. The front desk is efficient, and the room response speed is fast. The room still has a slight smell, and the delivery of the air purifier is still very timely.

The room was filthy. Dust accumulated on the telephone, and the shower floor tiles were untraceable. When I first checked in, I noticed a used bath towel. I told the front desk to come back that afternoon to clean and replace it, but when I went back to bed that night, I discovered the bedsheets were still used. The front desk guy kindly changed several rooms, but unfortunately, none of them were cleaned properly. The experience was very poor.

The breakfast at this hotel is absolutely fantastic! The variety is incredibly extensive, offering everything from various breads and pastries to traditional Chinese options like congee, steamed buns (baozi), and fried dough sticks (youtiao). They also provide fresh vegetables, fruits, and a wide selection of beverages, truly catering to diverse tastes and preferences. The food quality is exceptionally high, with all ingredients being incredibly fresh, resulting in a delightful taste and texture. The restaurant environment is also very comfortable and spotless. The tables and chairs are neatly arranged, and the soft lighting creates a warm and inviting dining atmosphere. The staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly. They consistently cleared tables promptly, replaced cutlery, and proactively asked about guests' needs, offering assistance whenever required. The entire dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Above average breakfast buffet. In-house dining menu a bit pricey, unfortunately. I would recommend walking around the area for alternative dining options. Room was excessively hot even with the thermostat off. Was necessary to open a window to cool off the room to be able to sit comfortably without sweating.

This hotel is a ten-minute drive from Sheshan. The underground garage is convenient for parking. The price during the May Day holiday is only one-third of the scenic area. The cost performance is very high. The executive suite is very large. I contacted Xiao Zhang at the front desk before staying. I checked in late, and the room service prepared welcome snacks, which was very considerate. The hotel environment is also spacious and comfortable.
