Located right inside Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, it’s a perfect place to spend the night if you want to soak in the atmosphere of this historic water town. Unlike many other modernized hotels in the area, Shiyuan Inn retains the classic charm and traditional interior that reflects the spirit of the old town. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. During our stay, there was a noisy guest in the room above us, and the owner thoughtfully offered us a late check-out the next day so we could get some extra rest — a gesture we truly appreciated. Breakfast was included and lovingly prepared by the owner himself. It was simple yet heartwarming, and we got to enjoy it at the back of the inn with a peaceful river view. Just perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay overnight in Zhujiajiao and experience a more authentic side of the town.

The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I added the buffet breakfast, which was great quality and good value. However, it’s worth noting that breakfast is served at a different hotel nearby, and finding it wasn’t very straightforward.

This is a brand new hotel and very clean. I enjoyed my stay here and had a fabulous time. The only aspect to keep in mind is the fact that the hotel is on the outskirts of Shaghai. It's in the west and the nearest subway station is 5 km away. However, the hotel is right next to the Namu Cosmetic hospital. So, if you plan some cosmetic surgery in the future, this hotel is definitely your best option.

You can easily find peace and relaxation just by brewing a small cup of Jin Jun Mei tea in your room. Helpful Tips: 1. Guests staying at the hotel receive a discount on dinner. The chef's culinary skills not only allow you to savor authentic local farmhouse cuisine but also elevate it with a touch of exquisite refinement. 2. The hotel manager is exceptionally warm, helpful, and responsible, which made us feel completely at ease throughout our stay.

The room is not big, not as good as the Seasons Hotel at the same price. The facilities in the room are not complete. The toothbrush and comb were only given once, and there were no cotton swabs, etc. There was no paper towel either, and it was replenished the next day. The used bath towel was not changed, and there was a lot of hair from the previous guest when I opened it. It was very noisy in the morning. They were building a house or repairing the road next door. I woke up at 6 o'clock, and there were no mosquitoes. The room is more than 200. It's not worth more than 300. The Seasons Hotel in Shanghai at the same price is very good. It's too stingy to put a toothbrush and comb in the room. The beautiful lady with glasses at the front desk on the first floor provided good service.
