Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Shanghai Pudong Airport Reviews

I was staying with friends for the weekend and wanted a hotel close to the airport so we wouldn't miss our flight. The transportation was super convenient, right next to the airport. The room design was very thoughtful, spacious, comfortable, and the temperature was just right. I especially loved the hotel's bed and pillows; I had a great night's sleep. A special shout-out to Lucy Ni and Helen Zhang at the front desk for their excellent service!

The room was quite spacious. They offer a complimentary airport shuttle, which gets you to the airport in under 5 minutes. There's a bit of noise from planes taking off and landing, but the hotel provides earplugs. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options.

The service is good, hotel is very clean. Very convinient to catch early flight because they provide shuttle bus and only 5 min away from the airport

This is an older 4-star hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it's very clean. The main draw for me is its proximity to the airport; I always stay here when I fly. They have facilities for kids to play, which is great for burning off their energy. I have to praise the concierge team – they are incredibly dedicated and responsible. I sent my large suitcase ahead of time, and they even called me to confirm receipt. They also helped me with my luggage onto the airport shuttle, which I really appreciate. This time, I booked a kids' room, and the complimentary kids' meal was a generous portion with good dishes. They also gave us a free kids' breakfast, and a big thank you to Miss Zuo Xian at the front desk for her meticulous and attentive check-in process. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the restaurant. It's expensive, the food isn't great, and there's limited choice. We ordered three dishes, one soup, a pizza, and a sandwich, which came to a total of 688 yuan. We had ordered both Chinese food and the pizza/sandwich, but the Chinese dishes came out first, leading me to suspect they were probably pre-made. What I found even more unbelievable was that a glass of milk cost 42 yuan, and it didn't even fill a 300ml baby bottle. In UK restaurants, milk usually costs only 1 to 2 pounds, which is less than 20 RMB. I ended up ordering milk via delivery, but it was quite inconvenient!

Overall, I was very satisfied. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and even gave me meal vouchers (thank you, thank you!), so I didn't go hungry on my flight the next day. The shuttle was also super fast, getting to the terminal in about three minutes.

The location is a big plus. The twin room beds were a bit small, but very soft. The soundproofing isn't great, which is a bit awkward 🙀, but the amenities are top-notch – even the ice bucket is Zojirushi.

The hotel is great, and it's super convenient for travel, being very close to the airport. However, it can be a bit noisy because many planes take off in the middle of the night. Bringing earplugs would definitely help. The food is good, and the front desk service is also excellent.

This hotel is super close to Pudong Airport and offers a shuttle service, which is a huge plus. The rooms are really nice, clean, tidy, and even feel quite luxurious. Definitely worth the price! I'd happily stay here again if I have the chance.

There were a lot of uncleaned stains on the sink. On the day of check-in, the king room I booked wasn't available, so the front desk changed it to a twin room. I was quite tired and didn't fully hear what she said, so I agreed. Once I saw the room, I wasn't happy and asked them to switch it. Although they upgraded my room type, the room's cleanliness was still very poor.

The best part about it was the direct transfer from Shanghai Pudong from and to the hotel. Room service was also very good! My friendhad a great burger with fries.

Although the hotel shows its age a bit, it still shines as a brand hotel. All services are top-notch, and the location is excellent. Plus, there's a shuttle bus directly to Pudong Airport, which is incredibly convenient. The environment is superb, and the food is also delicious with a wide variety of options.
