The place is perfect. It’s an old building but the environment and community is beautiful and clean. Lots of cafe nearby. Subway is Line10 at IAPM and location is at walking distance. Facilities are complete. Landlord is very easy to communicate with. Just add on wechat. Only one issue, the bathroom door lock is not working but it’s not an issue for us 😂. Will definitely comeback again here.

Exceptional Stay in Shanghai - Highly Recommend! We recently spent two weeks traveling with our family in Shanghai, staying at five different hotels and homestays. Among all of them, our experience at the Shanghai Yaoting Lingju (Xiangyang South Road Branch) was by far the best. Accommodation: We stayed in the Family House - 2-Room unit, which was a breath of fresh air compared to our previous stays. The 80m² space was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and well-organized. The quality of the furnishings and equipment was top-notch, and the décor was elegant and modern, not cheap or dated like other places we stayed. Comfort and Amenities: The two queen beds were very comfortable, and the rooms had excellent noise insulation, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. We loved the separate areas for washing and drying clothes, which added a great convenience to our stay. The three bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, with no signs of leaks or issues that we encountered elsewhere. Location: The location is perfect for European travelers. The area is very green, quiet, and pleasant, with a wide variety of dining options nearby. Whether you’re in the mood for European-style breakfasts or local Shanghai delicacies, you’ll find plenty of great spots within walking distance. Coffee lovers will also appreciate the abundance of cafes in the vicinity. Special Features: One of the highlights was the outdoor area. There’s a cool table outside where you can enjoy meals or just relax. The courtyard itself is charming, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the building is part of an older complex, it’s well-maintained and adds to the authentic Shanghai experience. Value for Money: The price-quality ratio at this homestay was excellent. Unlike our previous accommodations, where we often felt we were overpaying for subpar conditions, here we felt we received great value for our money. Everything from the high-quality repairs to the well-thought-out ergonomic design contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall Experience: Our stay at Shanghai Yaoting Lingju was exceptional. It surpassed all other places we stayed in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and overall experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shanghai. It’s a hidden gem that offers both quality and value.

Everything is good. Just tell the butler if you need anything. It's very good, but you have to be careful when meeting on the second floor.

The location of the house is good, it is very convenient to go to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and it is not far from the International Trade Center, which can be reached on foot. The old neighborhood, in the alley, has the characteristics of old Shanghai. Although the house is small, it has everything, and the space is used reasonably, so a family of three does not feel crowded. There is also the Shanghai Arts and Crafts Exhibition Hall not far away. I don’t like to go to the Internet celebrity check-in places, and it’s good to visit niche attractions. I hope to improve the cleaning of the details. The sofa cushion and the plush stool are too dirty.

The hygiene is really not good! The toilet smells very bad! It needs to be improved! The old house is not soundproof, and you can hear it going up and down the stairs! Fortunately, the boss's customer service is still very active in dealing with problems! The attitude is very friendly! Because we brought our elders to see a doctor, the distance and room type are very suitable for us! It is recommended that you bring your own daily necessities, slippers and disposable items if you check in!

This is the hotel I am most satisfied with during this trip. The courtyard, heating, and customer service are all great. The experience is excellent. I will stay here again next time I have the chance to visit Shanghai.

It says on the page that six people can stay, but in fact, there are only two large beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed doesn't have a quilt, so you can only sleep cold at night. Pull out the sofa bed, and it's inconvenient to get out of the large bed next to it; there is an empty space next to the large bed upstairs, so if two people sleep there, one of them may fall down if they are not careful. The air conditioning heating effect is not good, the sound insulation effect is not good, and it is quite noisy.

The facilities are very smart, and toiletries, towels, and slippers are provided. The service is very considerate, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and the environment is very good. The first room was divided into upper and lower floors, and the smell of damp was very strong. Fortunately, the landlord gave me another room, but if there was no other room, it would have been very troublesome that night.

The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The two-bedroom layout is very suitable for family travel. We are a family of three and came to Shanghai for medical treatment and stayed for more than ten days. It is very convenient to cook, bathe and wash clothes. The room is independent and quiet. The landlord is very warm and enthusiastic, responds promptly, and solves all problems during the stay in Shanghai. The location is very good and the transportation is convenient. You can take bus 96 directly to Ruijin Hospital. Take-out can also be delivered in half an hour. There are small vegetable markets and supermarkets nearby. Kitchenware, tableware and electrical appliances are very complete. Comfortable experience!!!

The location of the B&B is good, close to the subway and shopping malls. The decoration style is warm. The landlord is kind and always answers any questions. There is a washing machine and a kitchen for cooking. I would like to thank the landlord for preparing new kitchen utensils for me.
