The Senegambia Hotel is located in a beautiful park and has a charm all its own. The room was clean, simply but adequately furnished. A small refrigerator and safe are available. The bathroom lacks a bit of counter space, but the shower with decent water pressure was a definite plus. The pools are great, and the beach is a bit unusual but also very beautiful. Friendly staff. We will choose this hotel again and again, especially given its prime location (right on the *****).

Very nice hotel. Its location is very central, in the back of "the *****". Loads of Dutch people here! The pool is nice, they even have a swim-up bar. I had some fish in the local restaurant next to the pool, which was amazing. The AC was working well, there was warm water (not hot). Room cleaned daily, the bed was very comfortable. Definitely recommend it!

It is not my first time in this great hotel, I always enjoy a warm welcome with great staff, good evening and morning cusine, and specially relaxing time at beach side or swimming pool ; the rooms are inside a beautiful park , like ecolodge , in middle of nature

Our 4th time staying in this hotel but not been for 12 years. We love it. Our room was spacious and clean, there was a couple of things that could of done with a bit of maintenance but nothing that spoiled our stay. The staff, hotel grounds and wildlife are fantastic. Food and drink very good and reasonably priced. No problems getting sun loungers or tables at breakfast time (breakfast was great also) 2 swimming pools both very clean. We didn’t go in the sea as it was to rough during our stay. (Beach area nice and clean) Excellent location with loads of decent good value restaurants and bars just outside the hotel… my only gripe is the street is dirty with litter ect. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and are already planning another visit but remember this is a poor African country.

Property was peaceful, staff excellent. A very good taxi service offered via the taxi controller at the hotel entrance. Bad points were: lack of plug points in rooms which were badly appointed. Very old fashioned and would not meet the 3 star standard given in the UK.

Just returned from senegambia beach hotel, highly recommend, grounds are amazing, so green and beauand peaceful. So many birds, and visiting monkeys. Quiet pool was just that with amazing greenery, accommodation although a little dated, was so clean and spacious, bed so comfortable, a stering job by daily housekeeping, please do offer them a drink of water, they work so hard and are so pleasant. Breakfast, had everything I wanted, fresh eggs and omelette cooked while you wait and so much more. The whole place is so we'll run and so clean, I loved it. *****! Take it or leave it, restaurant/ food was good but you do get some hassle from some locals, but they are only trying to make a bit of money and leave you alone if you say no. Lovely people, highly recommended it, we went on two trips, Senalegal safari, which was amazing and really gives you an insight I to true Gambian living and we visited a school an local produce and fish markets, amazing, we had 1 week there, experienced what we set out to do coupled with relaxation
