Ein Hotel für Leute die geniessen und verwöhnt werden wollen. Sehr gute Lage, nicht weit weg von Senegambia aber doch sehr ruhig. Ein "Adult only" Hotel, wo man sich vom hektischen Treiben in Gambia herrlich erholen kann. Der Inhaber führt das Hotel mit viel Herzblut und mit dem richtigen Mix zwischen Schweizer-Gründlichkeit (20 Jahre in Schweiz) und doch mit der afrikansichen Lebensfreude. Das Zimmer war gross mit herrlicher Meersicht und überdurchschnittlich sauber. Ich wurde die ganze Woche vom Team verwähnt und erhielt ausgezeichnete Hilfe und Support vom Hotel-Manager. Bin überzeugt, dass dieses Hotel die beste Wahl für Leute ist, wenn man keinen Party-Rummel will, sondern in einem Boutique Hotel guten Service geniesst und sich vom afrikanischen Lebensfeeling begeistern lässt. Absoluter Top Aufenthalt!

I don’t understand the positive reviews. This hotel is totally due for renovation, and lacks charm, once upon a time a second store was attempted, but clearly rests unfinished, which spoils the view of the building. Inside I had the feel of an airport hotel, with austere corridors and rooms. The hotel was mostly deserted with just a few guests. The mattress in my room on the ground floor was terrible, with pointing springs. Average breakfast no fresh juices, instant coffee. There are some pro’s, why I still quote this hotel average. A nice terrace on the first floor, overviewing the swimming pool and the sea. The great beachfront garden where you can enjoy a rest facing the sea, and the quietness of the spot. My room had a small terrace facing the swimming pool and the beach, the views on the first floor are probably better. Staff runs the hotel in a friendly way but is rather absent. A small kitchen serves average food, dinner must be preordered during the day.

This is an excellent hotel with excellent cuisine and a super friendly and helpful owner. Sainey Manneh has lived in Switzerland for around 20 years and has an eye for detail. Sainey is very well connected and can help with anything. When we asked where there was live music to be heard, he clarified this on the phone and then drove us himself to the "Poco Loco Club" where a great reggae band was playing. The hotel is very informal and you quickly know the whole team by name. We will definitely come back!

All rooms are spacious and most enjoy a superb ocean view! If there some clouds the sunset is magnificent. No noisy neighbors so in all a great place to relax. Direct access to the great beach with a nice gradual slope into the water. Best asset of the hotel might be the owner, Sainey, who is very friendly and always happy to assist with whatever question you have. He personally looks after the well-being of his guests! It might help that he worked some 20 years in Switzerland and speaks for instance fluent English and German. Sainey also made the hotel eco friendly as it has its own water source and works completely on its solar panels. Due to this there is no airco, and although we typically like that it was no problem at all: the hotel is well-built, the fans work great and the refreshing pool is just a few steps from the room.

Pleasant and clean beach front hotel. Swiss Boutique is a 9 room Eco hotel, cleverly designed bij the Gambian owner and manager Sainy. Sainy and his friendly staff helped to make this a holiday to remember. The pool is cleaned daily by ‘Abliy’ a reliable, friendly, smiling coast’ Gambian. Back in ‘23!
