Fantastic Hotel, amazing food and great staff

Cullinan Belek: The Best All-Inclusive Luxury Hotel on the Turkish Riviera First of all, I would like to thank my friend Mehmet Can Aygün, who helps me every year to have the perfect Turkish holiday. Thank you for always making time for me, for being someone I can count on, and for this fantastic experience I was able to have at Cullinan. Thank you to the General Manager, Onur Atac, for the wonderful room, and to Alesia Sen, Guest Manager, for providing me with two excellent guest assistants, Sevval and Fatma, who were always there to help me throughout my stay via WhatsApp. This is a perfectly functioning system, as for any questions, you don’t need to go to the reception—you can just coordinate with them through WhatsApp. Why do I say that this is currently the best hotel on the Turkish Riviera? I have more experience than the average guest, as I have spent my holidays in Turkey every year for the past 16 years, always at the best luxury hotels, so I have a basis for comparison. I also travel a lot around the world, staying at the best hotel chains, so I know what luxury and high quality mean. The Room: Spacious, modern, well-controlled, with Bulgari amenities and a minibar restocked daily with water, beer, soft drinks, chocolates, a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules, and tea. The room is cleaned daily to a high standard, and the bed linen is changed every day. The sea view is wonderful—I enjoyed it every morning. The beach is easily accessible on foot, but if you prefer, you can also take a buggy from reception to the sea, which I also enjoyed; along the way, you can admire the beautiful golf course. The beach is well-organized, with plenty of sunbeds—there was always a free spot. There’s also an adults-only (16+) section, so if you don’t want to be disturbed by children, you can choose this option. Personally, I had no issues with children during my holiday. The Azure pool area is also 16+, where you can relax in a beautiful environment while roller-skating waiters bring you refreshing drinks. The new Las Batchas area is fantastic and very atmospheric; every week there’s a party, and there are two piers—one open to everyone, and the other with cabanas you can rent. The beach is beautiful and clean, well-kept, and you can see the bottom of the sea—it’s no coincidence it’s a Blue Flag beach. You’ll find three snack restaurants outside: Greek, Italian, and Turkish. There’s a relax pool connected to the indoor pool, an activity pool, and an L pool, which was my personal favorite. If you want to be active, there are numerous options—a great fitness team is at your disposal, with a well-equipped gym and programs, both indoors and outdoors. I’d like to highlight Tugay Keles, who is both personally and professionally very helpful, showed me everything, and provided all the information I needed. Incredible hotel, very clean, the staff is very, very kind and smiling. The hotel has many unique restaurants offering wonderful and delicious food. It is full of various entertainment for big and small. Children's corners are unique and staff take care of the children perfectly, which makes the hotel great for families with young children. Also, on the pool next to the water rink, the roller coaster Bilial is incredible, constantly cared for us. Bilial you are grate. I would like to thank Gulnuara and Kateryna, they took care of us not to miss the various events organized by the hotel.

First time visiting the Cullinan Hotel and it was fantastic. On arrival you are welcomed with a glass of Moët Chandon and looked after by your assistant. The room we had was a superior room overlooking the golf course. The room was spacious, separate dressing room that led to separate shower and toilet. Main restaurant, food was really good and we liked the separate seating area for those aged 16+. The staff serving were excellent and that is a theme that continues throughout the hotel. One night though there was a queue for the grilled food so we went instead to the 24/7 restaurant which was really good. We visited this restaurant at lunch time and a few evenings and the food was excellent every time. We took up the offer of a complimentary visit to the Turkish restaurant. The outside restaurant looks amazing, as do all of the restaurants, the staff were great however the main course was really disappointing. We had chicken skewers and what we got was chicken wings, not good. Now the price of the a la carte restaurants are not cheap, that would have cost €40 for 2 people which would not have been worth it. They have to address the chicken skewers option and it should be chicken breast. Adult pool area, very calm and relaxing and great service by the waiters. Be mindful though if poor golfers on the 1st tee who may hit a stray ball near you! Pier bar, unfortunately named the ‘common pier’ but don’t let that put you off. It is fantastic and amazing service by the bar staff. Galapagos beach bar, stunning and great to sit late afternoon listening to the dj and to sit at night for the entertainment - more on that later. The staff were so good, always looking after you. Azure pool bar, lovely to sit after dinner and watch the live music from very good bands. Irish bar, really lovely bar with great tv screens showing all the sports. Entertainment, now this is what lets the Cullinan down. Azure bar, great live bands but only until 21:30. Then it’s down to the Galapagos Beach club to see dance shows with in-house DJ. Watching the same type of dance show each evening became boring and tedious, like watching Britains Got Talent and seeing the same dance troupe each show. We would have liked to have seen live bands, even on alternate nights, that played until 23:30 rather than watch the dance routines. Many people left after 25 minutes each night so maybe they wanted live music. Liked the afternoon dj set which was a good surprise, held in the Cabana beach area. Staff, they were all excellent. Great service, always checking to see if you wanted more drink. Cannot praise them high enough. Assistants, we had Sena and Ibrahim. We dealt mainly with Ibrahim and we must say he is a credit to hotel. He was extremely helpful, great person to talk to and so professional. I hope he has a successful career with the hotel. Staying at this hotel was the best experience I’ve had so far on a “quick holiday.” I went with my wife and our little daughter for a week-long stay. We were absolutely delighted with how friendly and professional the staff is, how good and tasty the food is, the wonderful à la carte restaurants, and the bars serving top-quality drinks and alcohol. The hotel is beautiful and has a unique style, although its finishings might give the impression of being a bit sloppy (seems like the construction workers messed up a bit during the finishing stage) ;) However, this doesn’t affect the stay in any way. It’s very clean and pleasant overall. The only downside I noticed was the oddly designated “adults-only” areas. For example, in the middle of the beach, some sun loungers (very poorly marked) were reserved exclusively for adult guests. The staff came over at noon, in the peak of the heat, and literally told us to move two loungers over. To me, that was irrational, as it made no real difference - especially since the beach was full of noisy kids anyway. They even woke up sleeping toddlers who were lying on the loungers just to make us move one spot over. That was the only thing that really annoyed me. Not a single day went by without someone asking us to change loungers, and on the sixth day, I even asked if I could sit with a 10-year-old in the spot I had chosen. And we have to mention the evening shows and discos. Wonderfully organized and always on time. The actors' costumes were stunning, and the performances were fantastic. With only a few minor exceptions, it was a real pleasure to watch everything. The DJ and the music - amazing!
