Sejong Hotel Seoul Myeongdong

I strongly recommend not staying at Sejong Hotel. The only advantage of this hotel is its location. It is right at Exit 10 of Myeongdong Station, but you need to climb stairs. It is a bit inconvenient to carry luggage. The other items are a mess. This time it has affected my mood and experience of the entire trip. This is also my first time to write a review. I checked in in February 2025. When I went to bed at night, I found that the air conditioner was not working at all. It was so hot that I was sweating all over. The thermometer showed that our room was 29 degrees. I called the front desk and they said that the central air conditioner could not be adjusted. It was suggested that we open the window. They also lent us a fan. But when I opened the window, the rally and demonstration downstairs had been beating drums and gongs since the morning. I was awakened by the noise of the demonstration outside the window and couldn’t sleep again. In addition, there were mosquito bites after opening the window. As a result, I slept very badly for five days.  The hotel service can be said to be completely absent. As a hotel, I simply asked for a pair of chopsticks. The front desk actually asked me to go to the lobby to pick it up. Isn’t this a very basic hotel service? I have stayed in so many hotels. This is the only one that requires guests to go to the lobby to get it. Is this the service of a hotel worth 600-700? The room is clean but a bit old. There are hairs in the bathtub. There are also some strange smells from time to time. The cleaning lady is very polite, which is commendable. In addition, the room facilities are not luxurious at all. There is only a small round table, two stools, a TV, and a dressing table. Two of the three ends of the fork wire provided in the room are broken. Fortunately, I prepared a travel adapter. I suggest that the hotel can remove the name of *deluxe* double room. I saw this hotel as a 4-star hotel on Trip.com, but I saw that they are 3-star hotels at the entrance of the hotel. I hope trip.com will also lower their score. If it weren’t for their 4-star and large rooms, I wouldn’t choose them. In short, don’t choose this hotel. It completely ruined my trip to Korea.

駅に近くとても便利。 仁川空港へのバス乗り場も近い。 クラッシックなホテルだが、レイトチェックアウトにも対応してくれて，良かった。

The location is super convenient! The rooms have deteriorated over time, but it doesn't bother me! I'd love to stay here again!

位置一流，明洞地鐵站10號出口一上地面就係。過馬路就係去南山嘅巴士總站。 房間雖然睇落有d舊，但空間充足，好大。下次都係考慮再入住。

I go to Korea for work every few months. I always choose this hotel. Many people say that this hotel is old. Although it is indeed older, the rooms are larger and cleaner than ordinary hotels. The location is convenient and not noisy. The staff at the counter are really nice and polite. The only thing I still hope to improve is that the room lighting is really dark. Sometimes I can't even see the luggage password lock. All in all, I am still very satisfied. I will still choose this place next time I come.

The facilities were not new, but it was a nice hotel with good quality. There were staff who could speak Japanese, which was reassuring. Above all, it was very convenient to get to.
