This is my favorite guesthouse!
The room isn't new, but it's clean and spacious. The owner is also very kind and helpful. He speaks Japanese. I also like the location. It's right next to Insadong, and close to Anguk and Gwangjang Market. Three subway lines and a bus stop are also nearby, so it's easy to get to anywhere. By the way, it's only a direct train ride from Gimpo Airport!
It's on the second floor and above, but the stairs make it a bit difficult to carry a suitcase;; Also, the surrounding area is a bar district and a popular hangout spot for older people. It might be scary or noisy if you're not used to it, but I always stay alone and have never experienced any danger, even late at night. Of course, it's not completely safe, and you should exercise caution, but I recommend it for those who want to experience the true essence of Korea.^^
This is the only place I can think of to stay in Seoul, so I'd like to stay here again on my next trip.

I have lived here once last year and this year also i’m so pleased with my stay! The owner let me book the room comfortably! When we arrived they were very kind and spoke perfect english which was good because we can’t speak korean! The facility is nice and is only 1 min from the subway station!! The owner also helped us with our VERY heavy bags when we left!! And it’s possible to book airport taxi at the hotel which is perfect! We were also allowed to leave our bags at the hotel after check out! Everything is perfect!! :)) ＜33

The service was excellent. I was impressed by the friendliness of the front desk staff. The hotel was clean, and it's very rare to find a bathtub (for showering, not for storing hot water) in this price range, so I had a very comfortable stay. There were many restaurants nearby, and I love the downtown atmosphere, so that was a plus. It was also close to the station and bus stop. I definitely recommend it!
