It was a great location near Seokchon Lake and Lotte Tower. The staff were incredibly friendly, but some of the female employees at breakfast were friendly and others were cold and unsmiling, which was a bit disconcerting. For this price, the room was excellent, spacious, and beautifully decorated. My family slept soundly on the comfortable beds. There was no direct elevator, so transferring on the fourth floor was a bit inconvenient, but it was a pleasant staycation.

索菲特酒店還是不錯的，環境，衞生，服務都很在線，地理位置感覺也很棒，旁邊就是免税店，對面很多咖啡店，首爾感覺挺小的，所以打車去景點感覺還好！

Шикарный отель. Рекомендую всем. Отличное месторасположение в центре города рядом с Lotte world adventure и самой высокой башней Сеула с шедевральной видовой площадкой. В отеле есть классный бассейн с джакузи и спа центром. Везде панорамные окна. Завтраки в французском стиле, очень вкусные и разнообразные. Номера просторные и комфортные. Останавливались в семейном номере де-люкс с двумя спальнями и двумя туалетными комнатами. Персонал очень вежлив и услужлив, все сотрудники добродушные. Обязательно остановлюсь в этом отеле в следующий раз.

The rooms are a comfortable size, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed, making it easy to unwind after a busy day in the city. The fitness center and pool area exceed expectations—spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained.
However, there are a few drawbacks that can impact your experience. Weekend breakfast service is limited to just three fixed time slots (6:30, 8:00, and 9:30 AM). Arriving at 9:00 AM means a 30-minute wait, which feels frustrating compared to hotels that offer rolling buffet times or extra seating. Similarly, the pool requires reservations for certain time windows, and children under 16 aren’t permitted in the locker or changing rooms. This policy makes it awkward for a parent and child—while you can change, your daughter cannot, which seems poorly thought out.
Overall, the Sofitel Ambassador offers top-tier accommodations and amenities, but its rigid scheduling and family-unfriendly pool policies detract slightly from an otherwise wonderful hotel.
