This was my first time staying at K Grand Hostel Gangnam.
I always stay at Toyoko Inn Gangnam, but this time there were no vacancies so I chose this one.
I was scared because I read in the reviews that there were bugs, but my room was fine.
I liked that it was quite reasonable at about 7,800 yen for 1 night and 2 days.
Although there are some disadvantages compared to Toyoko Inn (no elevator, you can hear people's voices because it's a restaurant district), I didn't get the impression that it was dirty, and the receptionist kindly explained the hotel to me in Japanese.
I didn't have any particular issues with the bathroom.
I didn't go to the shared space this time, so I'm sorry I can't write about it in the review🙇♀️
Also, if you use the shower, you might want to avoid it...the toilet and shower are together without any partitions.
I was satisfied because all I wanted from a hotel was a certain level of cleanliness and a place to sleep.
I think it's very good for people who are concerned about cost-effectiveness rather than comfort.

Bathroom? There was a shower in the toilet, but I couldn't take a shower there, so I went to a nearby fitness gym and took a shower there.
The mirror and the shampoo bottles on top of the toilet had a lot of water stains on them, so it wasn't very hygienic.
There is no elevator, so it's quite difficult if you have heavy luggage.
You can get extra garbage bags at the front desk.
It's good for people who just want to sleep near the station, but I don't recommend it for people who are concerned about hygiene at all.

The cups in the room were covered in dust. I had to wait at the reception to check in, but they didn't apologize and the staff's attitude was not good.
It's cheap, so I guess it can't be helped, but there's no elevator and it was a lot of stairs to the 4th floor, so although the location is good, I won't be staying there again.
