Yongsan Hotel Huam

The hotel was very clean, and the amenities included toothbrushes and bathrobes! I stayed for 2 nights, and the trash and towels were sorted out after each night, so I'd like to stay here again!

Check-in time was late, and the information about temporary luggage storage was unhelpful. There were a lot of noisy guests in the middle of the night and early in the morning, and because the walls were thin I could hear everything, so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. The air conditioning remote control was integrated with the TV remote control, which was confusing.

It's not that big. It's just a good place to sleep, wash, and do other things. I stayed in a room right next to the cafeteria (where they serve breakfast), and I could hear all the noise from everyday life so it was uncomfortable. The rooms are fairly soundproof, but you can hear conversations in the hallway, the sound of water being used in the cafeteria, and the sound of chairs being moved without any filtering. So, if you end up staying in a room next to that, you should think about this. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the facilities and cleanliness. The bathroom and bedding were all clean and well-maintained. There are no outdated facilities.

It was one stop from Seoul Station, and it took less than 10 minutes from the nearest station, because we had to go up a gentle slope. The room was clean, but the staff were not there, and if you talk to the security camera at the entrance, you can talk to the staff, but if you don't speak Japanese or Korean, it will be a very difficult stay. I emailed this site a few days before my stay to ask what time I can leave my suitcase in, but there was no reply. The worst part is that I didn't know the password to the room even after checking in, so I asked at the time of my stay, but there was no reply either. I faced the security camera and communicated with a translator, but the room I entered happened to have a TV that didn't work, and miraculously on the third day of the three nights and four days, a staff member was there and I talked to him. They changed me to a larger room that happened to be available, but I didn't email them during my stay, so it was quite inconvenient. If you can speak Korean or English, I think you can use it well, but it's a shame because the area and rooms were nice and clean.

The walls were so thin that the *******'s voice was really loud. There was no staff there so they couldn't fix it right away and I couldn't sleep. It was hard to figure out how to turn on the air conditioner.
