Checking in was a simple process of just writing your name on a piece of paper at the reception desk. It takes about 3 minutes to walk straight from Exit 2 of Ewha Womans University Station. It's convenient and easy to find because Oriyang is on the first floor. There is no elevator, so you have to go up the stairs to the third floor. It's a bit difficult if you have a lot of luggage. I stayed in an 8-person room with 4 bunk beds lined up in an area of ​​about 6 tatami mats. I had stayed in a capsule hotel in Japan before, so I booked it expecting it to be small, but it was much larger than that! I was able to change clothes and even kneel. There was no space to open my suitcase in the large room, so I left it in the designated place and only placed my luggage inside next to the bed. Just be careful to manage your valuables. There are four shower rooms in total. The toilet is also in the shower room, so if someone uses the shower, the toilet gets wet too lol There are hooks and shelves in the shower room, so I recommend bringing a bag that you can get wet in and putting towels and underwear in it. You can borrow one towel per day. Personally, I'm thinking of bringing flip-flops next time. There is shampoo and body soap, but there is no conditioner, so it's better to prepare it. I didn't bring it, so I was in trouble. There are three hair dryers, but they are not allowed to be used at night. For breakfast, you can cook frozen bread, *, corn flakes, etc. as you like. There are several types of drinks, and coffee and tea are available at any time. You can borrow a conversion plug! There is also a washing machine and detergent! However, there is no dryer and the drying space is always full, so I went to a nearby coin laundry just to use the dryer. If you search, you will find many. It was my first time staying in a so-called dormitory overseas, but everyone was quiet and clean, so I didn't have a bad experience. For one night, there were people making noise even after midnight, but I realized I was asleep by the time I noticed, so I think it's fine once you get used to the environment lol. More than anything, being in a place with people while traveling alone made me feel safe and relaxed. I'd like to come back again the next time I come to Seoul alone!
