Hotel Nafore

The location is a little hard to find, but it was close to the station, about a 5-minute walk away. The room was clean and I have nothing to say. I asked for a room with flooring and a shower curtain, and I'm not sure if it was because it was a weekday and not crowded, but I'm grateful that they prepared it as requested. There are times when there are staff members who can speak Japanese. (It was helpful that there were some who could speak English even if they couldn't speak Japanese.) Although it's common in Korean hotels, they don't provide disposable slippers, so if you're concerned about that, I think it's best to bring your own.

The location is quite close to no. 14 and no. 15 on Jongno 3-ga. There is an escalator at no. 14. Go through the delicious food alley and bossam alley on Jongno 3-ga and enter the alley further back. There are several hotels and motels, and it is a local narrow back alley, so you may get lost. It is dark at night. If you get lost, the hotel is behind Hotel Venue G, so use that as a landmark. The staff are friendly and leave a good impression. Some people speak Japanese. There are 24-hour shops around, and if you walk a little further, you will find the drinking district and Jongno food stalls, which are fun. You can enjoy local Korea. The hotel is not old, and the twin room this time was spacious and nice. The only disappointment is that it is dusty. There is no shower curtain. Also, the electrical outlet plug was loose and the contact was poor, so charging did not work well. Even the transformer I borrowed from the hotel did not work. This is common in Korea, but it was disappointing. There are no amenities. It is a rinse-in shampoo. I recommend it for people who like local places and don't mind the details.
