It is less than five minutes' walk from Shinchon subway station. There is CU downstairs and many restaurants to choose from nearby. I think it is very suitable for solo travelers or short-term stays, or travelers who are shopping on behalf of others or chasing celebrities. Although the hotel is a commercial office and will share the building with the original residents, I don’t think it matters. I had business at a university in Shinchon, so I stayed here because it was within walking distance. Although it is called a hotel, it was a one-room apartment, though it did have a front desk. One thing to note is that I stayed in a double room, but the door to the bathroom (toilet and shower) that could be seen from the room was frosted glass, so you could see inside. It's tolerable for a same-sex family trip, but it might be tough for a trip with friends. (I don't know about twin rooms, though.) If you can get past that, the airport bus and subway are close by, so I think it's fine if you're just going to sleep.
