Family-friendly Hotels in Seoul

The hotel is located at the city hall side and right in front of the Seoul public library and a nice out door walkway with the statue of king who created Korean language and a respected general (from the movie: the general). Its a bit far (walking) to myeong dong for night snack market. The room is big, back to 90s decorations but comfortable stay. The room I stayed had a bath tub so it was nice to soak my feet in hot water after a long day walk. The water pressure is amazing! Good location if you need to do banking here as all the banks are located this side. Got self service laundry machines 5000 won for washer and 5000 won for dryer

The distance to Myeong-dong is about a 10-minute walk, and with Namdaemun Market nearby, the location is really convenient with different means of transport (including the direct Airport Limousine bus stop located right close to the hotel). The services and amenities are great with self-locker luggage services and good ambience at the lobby and on the hotel floors. Love the aroma of the fragrance of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Two things to mention during my experience are the cleanliness of towels and the soundproofing issue between floors. Overall, it is a nice weekend stay amd I recommend for giving a try at this hotel (would also love to try to stay in one of the Line Friends themed rooms some day). [I only took photos of the bathroom/washroom and the Airport bus route to go to Incheon Airport (the bus stop name is Namdaemun Market (Bank of Korea)), it took me less than 1.5 hours to reach to the Airport and costs 17000₩ with Tmoney or Cash, it was a pleasant ride]

The stay this time round fell short compared to previous stays as basic necessities like toothbrush, toothpaste and razor now comes with a fee to “promote recycling”. In my opinion, for guests like myself who came without preparing, it kind of makes no sense since buying them from the hotel or the convenience store wouldn’t make any difference anyway - it would eventually be thrown away upon leaving the hotel

Great and prompt services (porter, request scale, book taxi). Convenient location right in front of ice skating. User friendly room facilities eg curtains, lights .soft pillows and bed had a great sleep!

Excellent service. I had my foot ripped off and need an adhesive tape. I made the request at Room Chat and they sent me within 5 minutes. On another occasion, we need to go Sanchon for dinner appointment but couldn’t be able to get any urber or taxi on apps, so we tried to ask hotel front desk. Their staff arranged taxi for us within 10 minutes. Highly commendable for their efficiency and “can-do” attitude! The only setback is breakfast only serves until 10:30am. Would be great if all day breakfast is available as leisure travellers do not have tight schedule and tend to wake up late.

Travelled with parents (3 adults in total). Corner room was a good size, could fit a sofa bed comfortably. Mountain View was great with this room. However, always check what type of toilet you are getting. I stayed in the grand Hyatt a few days before and got a corner room on the 12th floor, which had a normal toilet (separate stalls for shower and toilet bowl). But for this instance, they allocated me a room on the 7th floor, without informing me that the toilet had an open shower (ie no shower doors; water spashes everywhere when one showers). It’s probably meant for handicap users, but it is inconvenient for older folks because the toilet gets wet everywhere and there is a high fall risk. Location of hotel is also quite inaccessible by public transport. Be prepared to take taxi most of the time (get a card from the front desk; some drivers could not understand my accent).

Good location, and there are many restaurants nearby. There is a shuttle bus stop of Incheon airport in front of the hotel. It's very handy that there is a washing machine/dryer in the room. However, it is a pain in the **** that you have to book to use the pool, and you can only book once a day per room. A couple won't always go swimming at the same time. There are only two lifts in the hotel room tower. You have to be patient. The perfume in the lobby was a bit pungent.

Room was quite roomy any clean. Toothbrushes are there for purchase with is convenient if you don’t bring your own. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is close to bus stops and train station. Only thing to mention is some parts of the walls were not clean with splash marks and drip marks but if you are not too bothered by little things like that it is a very comfortable stay. There are loads of places to eat around the hotel and also a little stroll away.

There was a huge ball of hair in the towel which was a bit alarming for me but I made the staff aware and they addressed it immediately. Things to note: The location is perfect for those who want to see the city. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel and the metro entrance is right at the door. Check in is at 3pm but the staff is very kind and can assist you in checking in earlier. The rooms are tiny. The ac vent opens directly above the bed and it is super noisy, you can opt for a room with a window. The rooms are carpeted which was a huge problem for me. I had trouble breathing when I was in the room.

This hotel, located in Yongsan, Seoul, is not easily accessible without a car. Even though it's connected to a subway station, it requires some walking. However, the hotel facilities and breakfast are excellent. The view from the hotel is also very good. However, I'm not sure if the hotel blends well with the surrounding scenery.
