Just 3 mins walk to the nearest station and the bus stations just stop right in front of the hotel. You need the card to get up to your floor, which is plus point in security. There was a local supermarket nearby where we bought the snack in reasonable price. Will probably stay again in case going to Seoul again.
My thanks to the lady and the gentleman at the front desk! The took the trouble to help me find a taxi which was difficult during the peak time of 8:15am.
In fact the staff at the front desk are all nice people, polite, and professional.

Its location is perfect. Near the City hall station and the airport limousine stop. It is also walking distance to important places in Seoul like Gwanghwamun square, Gyeongbokgung palace and Cheonggyecheon. The staff are also accommodating and very helpful.
This place is a little off the touristy streets and quiet at night so just perfect to have that reset a long day of travel and tour in the city.

The location was great, in between two metro stations. However since it's a long established hotel, unavoidably the facilities are a bit old and with less daylight in the room.

I enjoyed staying at the KOREANA and would stay again. The breakfast is a nice mix of western and Chinese. A previous review I read said the bacon was too hard. Well, it was just right for me. The hotel must've read that review because they had soft bacon clearly separated from the hard bacon. There are several restaurants in the hotel, a fitness center, and coin laundry. The airport shuttle dropoff/pickup is directly in front of the hotel. The hotel is dated but it is still quite comfortable. Dated in a, it gives it character, type of way. Check in was easy. They had a small fire extinguisher and safety flashlight in the room and extinguishers all throughout the hallway. I honestly had not considered those types of safety measures in hotels until I saw them and I appreciate that they were there. Subway is down the street a short distance. I would stay again.

I like that this guesthouse was very close to the subway exit and on the same line as all the places I was visiting. The price was decent for having my own space and not having to share a bathroom. The room was clean and nice & cold. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but that seems to be the case in most places I've stayed in here in Korea.

My Stay at Lotte Hotel Executive Tower
I recently stayed at the Lotte Hotel Executive Tower in Myeongdong with my family, including kids, and overall, it was a great experience with just a few minor hiccups.
### **What I Loved**
- **Location, location, location!** The hotel is perfectly situated near the heart of Myeongdong, so everything from shopping to amazing street food is just a short walk away. It was super convenient, especially with kids, as we didn’t have to travel far to find food or entertainment.
- **The rooms are stunning.** You can tell they’ve recently been renovated—everything felt fresh, modern, and well thought out. The rooms were spacious and comfortable enough for our family, and the design made it feel like a luxurious retreat after a long day out.
- **Family-friendly atmosphere.** The hotel felt safe, welcoming, and very accommodating for families. Whether it was the convenience of the location, the comfort of the rooms, or just the overall vibe, it worked perfectly for traveling with kids.
### **What Could Be Better**
- **Language barrier:** While the staff were polite and genuinely eager to help, their English was hit-or-miss at times, which led to a few miscommunications. However, they were always patient and tried their best to assist, which I truly appreciated.
- **Amenities:** For a hotel of this caliber, the amenities felt a little basic. Only two complimentary water bottles were provided per room, which wasn’t enough for our family. Also, toothbrushes weren’t included and needed to be purchased separately, which was a bit inconvenient.
### **Final Thoughts**
Traveling with kids can sometimes be challenging, but the Lotte Hotel Executive Tower made things easier with its fantastic location and beautiful, family-friendly rooms. Despite a few small issues with amenities and communication, we really enjoyed our stay. I’d definitely recommend it to families looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Seoul!
