My 80 year old father and I had a good stay at the Fairfield Marriott on our last night in Seoul. Check in was easy, the elevators are high tech detecting your room floor when you hold the key to the hub, but the rooms are small. There's a sliding door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, but the bathroom is at the front of the room to include the door for entry. Essentially if you're on the toilet and your family/friend has left the room, you'd have to yell out to keep them from entering while on the throne. Not a big deal for overnight but for a longer stay that might be problematic. Also, said door is not quiet, so getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom requires you to make noise to slide the door closed. The room was otherwise nice. The bed was firm, the shower was good and had wash clothes. There's two hooks for hanging towels after you've used them which I think is golden. The breakfast buffet is just okay. There are plenty of food restaurants across the street from the hotel. We also had a Thai massage in that area. Oh, the slippers are really cheap, as seen in a pic... Lol.
Sangju Hotel Seoul

I used it on my first solo trip. It's within a 10-minute walk from Jamsil Station, about 500-600 meters away. Go straight out of Exit 6 (if you have heavy luggage, I recommend Exit 2, which has an escalator), turn left at the intersection with the Olympic-like object, and continue straight along the street. (I arrived without getting lost even though I'm directionally challenged lol) There were two men at the front desk during my stay, and both were very nice. They only spoke a little Japanese, but they tried their best to communicate with gestures and using a papago. The room I was shown didn't have a bathtub, so I asked at the front desk. It had been about 30 minutes since I checked in, so they were hesitant at first, but they eventually changed it for me. It's better to tell them right away if it's different from what you booked! (They upgraded it a lot, including the bathtub, so they may be quite casual about that. It was good that they changed it, but I don't think it's good to be the first to say it.) I stayed alone in a two-person room for less than 10,000 yen on a weekday in late April. The bed was spacious (for one or two people), clean, and there was a window, so it was very nice. Insect spray was also provided. There were extra towels and other things in front of the front desk, so please feel free to use them if you needed them. There was no information about the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, but I was able to use the one with my room number without a password. There were also plenty of charging cords for smartphones. A conversion plug is required to use the Japanese outlets, but this was included with the rental Wi-Fi, so it wasn't an inconvenience for me. I was very satisfied with such a great price. There are many expensive accommodations around Lotte World, so I highly recommend it!

I always look for places to stay with spacious residence-type rooms, and I was very satisfied with Oakwood Premier Coex Center. I was very impressed that I was upgraded at check-in. The front desk staff were very kind, and the people who came to clean my room were also very pleasant. The location is also great, and it's easy to get on the direct airport bus. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.
Lake Hotel

I came here to see the cherry blossoms, so I chose this hotel by the Seokchon Lake. I went there a little early, so the cherry blossoms hadn't fully bloomed yet, but they were already very beautiful. I will stay here again if I have the chance. The room is large and comfortable. There is a supermarket next to it, and there is a newly opened restaurant on the first floor. This is my second stay here. It's a great experience. I will come again in the future~
CS Premier Hotel

I used it on my comeback trip to Korea (^ω^) It takes about 10 minutes from Shin-Ookata Station, but there are restaurants and cafes on the way to and from the hotel, which was great! I couldn't go there, but there was a Daiso a little way after leaving the hotel, so it's good for buying anything you need. It had a bathtub and was comfortable - but the location of the outlets was poor. It was spacious and good. It was good that there was someone who could speak Japanese.
