The hotel was nice and comfortable. Very beautiful grounds. Lovely pool and real spa bath. Kids loved swimming and the pikachu blow up balloon. Food was pretty expensive - buffet breakfast for example was KW80k per person which reduces to KW68k for guesses. However, right next to the hotel are nice eateries where KW60k can get you a decent breakfast for a family of four. One night we were lazy and didnโt want to dine out and hotel room service was expensive (eg sea bass dish was KW70k) we asked concierge to help find good delivery, whilst most restaurant donโt deliver they do allow takeaway, the concierge helped arrange for a nearby restaurant to pick my wife up to take her to the restaurant to order and to take her back to the hotel. One day we didnโt want to book a tour so they suggested an English private taxi hire which costs KW250k per day which was great. We were able to get around and go to places we want at our leisure without being rushed by the tour entourage. Hotel was really far from the airport (1hrs drive at least) but near the Jeju temple, Alive museum, the waterfalls, the Cliff, the bear museum (where you can make teddy bears and other attractions. Hotel rooms were clean and nice. Had separate shower from bathtubs but the toilet was not enclosed. Loved the toilet seat though with Biden and all.

The hotel location, facilities, and outdoor landscaping are fantastic. The breakfast buffet was high quality (with a high price to match); The rooms are comfortable though nothing to rave about.
Two areas for improvement: 1. The hotel service is not catered towards foreigners; The front desk and kids island staff, as well as information pamphlet are limited mainly to Korea. The check in counter knew I had two young children with me, but did not mention that we had to pre-book / reserve activities with the kids island. By the time I found out, everything was full and my children could not participate in anything.
2. The hotel pool has a safety policy where children under 1.3M need an adult to accompany them, and if under 1.2M need to wear a life vest. This doesn't make sense for parents (to accompany them) or children who can already swim.

Great location at the south west corner of the island. Friendly check-in staff. Hotel staff was helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Garden view means car park view btw. Had a surprise encounter with a big spider in the bathroom but hotel staff came to help. I told him not to harm spider but to catch and release it outside. However my limited Korean didnโt get through and the staff killed it with a hotel towel ๐ฉ. Generally a great stay. Will return.

This is a great exprience for us for the enrtire stay. From the welcome to the room tour, your staff were so helpful. Facilicties and training for your team is excellent, demonstrate a good teamwork. I especially thanks Mr. Taehee, and the reception on 26 -27 May 2023. They help me find and confirm my lost bag and follow up the delivery of the bags via long haul call .They know I don't understand Korean and be my translator until the car arrived airport, which is my last chance to pick up for my further trip. I was so lucky to meet all of you and wish Bayhill Pool and Villa be the top choice in JEJU.

The apartment is very near to the theme park and provides free theme park admission. However, we need to drive out to get to the other attractions. Convenience store is nearby and the sauna and indoor swimming pool is a plus especially during cold weather.
The apartment area does not seem to be solely owned by the hotel organisation. Therefore, there may be a mix of residents and tourists.

This places is designed for families with younger children. If thats you, youโll have fun. There are tons of amenities, water parks etc. My wife and I are older. All of our children are adults, so we were traveling alone. We left the hotel a day early, simply because we couldnโt sleep on the bed any longer. Beds in Asia are generally much firmer than what westerners are used to, but that was the hardest before weโve experienced in our travels.

Would definitely classify it as 5 stars accommodations in terms of the hotel environment, feel and service. However, the room does have some slight irks, such as cracks in the toilet wall, accumulated dust on the toilet complimentary kits, the wall plugs feeling loose, and air con not really cold. But given that it was at an affordable price, these irks can be overlooked.
And the bathtub was really tiny, that could only fit one person in a seated position, which was strange as the previous time we booked the room the tub was much bigger.

The carpet on the common areas looked quite rundown.
However, interior of the room was perfect. Room size was also generous. Location of the hotel is near amenities and fantastic eateries. Also 10 mins leisurely walking distance from Seogwipoโs everyday market, Seogwipo Submarine amd Cheonjiyeon waterfall. We were extremely sarisfied to have chosen this hotel. Value for money.

Room was clean and had everything you need. There is no Room Service you have to pick up fresh towels etc. In the lobby. Self Service Laundry doesnโt accept foreign cards. There is a convenient store in the hotel lobby. My room was with Mountain view which was nice. Bus stop is in front of the hotel.

MMei LengThe manager Jay was very attentive and friendly, checking with us our itinerary each day. He even gave us a free upgrade! The valet was very attentive to bring out our car around the time we were heading out. The hotel is within walking distance to the Olle Maeil Traditional Market and there are a fee convenience stalls nearby. Won't hesitate to stay here again or recommend my friends to stay here if they're exploring the Seogwipo area.

GGuest UserRoom and view of the water was amazing! There is construction on road leading to hotel but does not interfere with sleep. The elevators smell like mildew possibly dew to people getting in post pool and the carpets holding moisture. Awesome awesome views and amenities. The gym is located in front of the water!! Be aware of limited parking but don't allow this to deter you from renting a cars . Listed below are pictures of the view from the street.

HHagga03The room and the property are very nice, the location is ok for some attractions, although a little far from most of the bars and restaurants. The service at this hotel is bizarre. They are incredibly strict about the check in and check out time, and quite rude, they welcome you with a very passive aggressive rules document which threatens several ways you can be fined or kicked out of the hotel, the bar/restaurant was closed 'forever' I was told, the elevator and corridors constantly have a smell like someone has farted in them. The breakfast food is poor, unseasoned and flavourless, even the butter is unsalted, poor selection, you have to compete with the staff for the best bits of the food as they eat in the restaurant at the same time and don't restock items, although they claim to do breakfast until 10 with last entry at 930, they tidy up around you at like 915 without asking if you're finished, and seem to expect you to clear your own table. If you put do not disturb in the morning they don't come clean later but just leave a carrier bag of towels outside, if you use they glassware in the room they don't clean it at all or replace it. Overall a very strange experience, maybe it's a cultural thing but from a western perspective this hotel has some of the worst service I've ever experienced, and I found it quite unwelcoming. For the money you'd be better off booking something from an American chain or similar.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at First70 Hotel in Jeju, Korea and would like to share my experience. While the hotelโs location and service were commendable, I found certain aspects pertaining to cleanliness and amenities rather disappointing.
Firstly, let me start with the positives. The hotelโs location is truly superb. Situated in a prime area of Jeju, it offers convenient access to popular attractions and transportation options. Whether youโre looking to explore the natural beauty of this picturesque island or indulge in shopping and dining experiences, First70 Hotelโs location is a definite advantage.
The service provided by the staff at First70 Hotel was exceptional throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, the hotel staff displayed professionalism and a genuine willingness to assist. They were attentive, responsive, and made sure all my needs were met promptly. The level of service truly enhanced my overall experience.
However, there were certain areas where First70 Hotel fell short. Cleanliness was one such aspect that left much to be desired. I observed lackluster efforts in maintaining cleanliness standards within the rooms and public areas of the hotel. Stains on carpets, dusty surfaces, and subpar bathroom conditions were evident during my stay.
Another disappointment was the state of amenities provided by First70 Hotel. While basic necessities were available, such as toiletries and towels, they seemed worn out or inadequate for a hotel aiming to provide a comfortable experience for its guests. Additionally, the absence of certain amenities that are commonly expected in hotels of similar caliber was quite noticeable.
In conclusion, First70 Hotelโs location and service certainly make it an enticing option for travelers visiting Jeju. However, prospective guests should be aware that there are areas where improvement is needed - specifically in terms of cleanliness upkeep and provision of adequate amenities. It is my hope that management takes these concerns into consideration and takes necessary steps to rectify them, in order to provide a more satisfying experience for future guests.

First location: sits in idyllic and panoramic view from the common balcony in 6F. A first time visitor to Jeju should at leats stay few days in Seogwipo (again, Jeju is divided into Jeju City and Seogwipo) as it showcase all the vest attractions in South, West and East Jeju)
From Airport, take bus 600 and bus stop seogwipohang (31 stops from airport)
Cleanliness: ilike to see the rooms no shoes and slipper allowed. It is clean and comfortable from heated floor and nice smelling beds and blankets and reasonable size locker rooms.
Service: The giveaway price you paid also includes free breakfast. Again, i explain later why it has a touch fresh blood, you will love to see new ideas in kitchen liek SeomBucks, SeomWay and many more. But what most I dont understand is why there are sweets (candies) also in Shower rooms. Fridge, you can have all you want to put in and get a personal space.
Facilities: The hostel in 6F overlooks the seogwipo sub-marine park. It is also within walking distance to a waterfall park. The rooftop also is so spacious (that you can hold a basketball) and a laundry.
The property caretaker, is literally a young blood, a college student having school breaks due to some injury and is managing this little haven is full of ideas, ready to jump and help, fluent in English and undoubtedly above average IQ/EQ. He surely can deal with picky and demanding foreigners and locals alike to get the best feeling at-home experience.
This why i said there is a touch of YOUNG BLOODS.
Ps: I canceled several of my bookings in another hotel and extended my stay here.

RRoam809812In China, I know it is a national chain. This is a hotel in Seogwipo Innovation City. We provide decent service at a reasonable price. The rooms are narrow but satisfactory for the price. Toothpaste toothbrushes should be purchased separately. There was a parking tower but it seemed not to be operated and I had to park and walk in a public parking lot separately. There was no other amenities. Good thing was reasonable price and enough service, nothing to disappoint.

The bathroom water handle n metal bar gets heated up and burned our hands - very dangerous.
I love the kitchen with induction stove top but unfortunately no pots to boil ramen etcโฆ no coffee or tea provided too.

FfscholarThe Ocean Blue Hotel was in fact quite nice, although I had been a bit concerned before I checked in. Room was clean in general. Two bottles of water were provided every day. TV was good. Wifi was fast. I did not have a chance to have a meal at the hotel. It is about 10 minutes to walk from the Jeju ICC. The room was very cheap with an amazing value. One issue is there is nothing within 10 minutes in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. For me, I had a meeting at the ICC, so it was okay.
