If you want to see the sunrise at Seongsan Ilchulbong, I highly recommend it! It's right in front of Ilchulbong. It's the best geographically for backpackers👍
Not only the geographical location, but I made a mistake during the reservation process, but the owner was very kind and did his best to accommodate me. I was also very satisfied with the cleanliness of the accommodation.

Location: A newly opened hotel that is only 2 months old. Very near to the bus stop (same side as buses coming from Seogwipo, just walk right after alight and turn left at the first corner - less than 200m total distance). Seongsan Ilchulbong is another 200m walk away, great if you want to wake up early for a sunrise hike. Seven -11 is just opposite the bus stop.
Amenities: Clean hotel with a small pantry at the lobby where you can make coffee, get hot water and new towels.
Staff: Owner, Heewon is a lovely lady. I was locked out of my room late at night and she came to my rescue after calling the number left at the reception door.
