Our trip to Semporna and Kota Kinabalu was a total of 9 nights. Before departure, I saw very good reviews from the store and the pictures of the island were also very beautiful. I was most looking forward to this day. But when I got there, I was really shocked. It was not worth the price at all. The water house we stayed in the day before was expensive, but the room was very clean and the meals were delicious. But this hotel is also expensive, but the room is so old that it looks like it was renovated in the 80s, the bed sheets are particularly dirty and old, the family room is also very small, the suitcase cannot pass through when opened, and the toilet always stinks, it is super smelly. Lunch and dinner were just OK, breakfast was not good, and there was only one spring roll for afternoon tea. The tail beach on the island is full of garbage, and it is difficult to take beautiful photos. No equipment is provided for snorkeling, and there are no beautiful sights such as corals in the snorkeling area. The female boss had a very bad attitude. When we were leaving the store, she asked us to pack up at 11 o'clock and wait for the boat to come. We had to wait for more than an hour before we could get on the boat. Because we had a baby with us, we told the hostess that since we had to wait, we could wait in the lobby a little later so that the child could take a nap. The female boss said they would check out at 11 o'clock. They also claimed that they didn't need good reviews because they had a partnership with Ctrip. This day was indeed not a happy one. Of course, this store also has its advantages: the male boss is friendly and greets everyone. At night, the clerk would take a flashlight and accompany us to watch the little crabs, even though the starry sky was ordinary. There are large schools of fish underwater at the pier, which are very beautiful. Although I spent $100 to rent a fishing rod, I didn't catch any fish. To pick us up at the store, we needed to take a 25-minute car ride from Haifeng Wharf and then a 10-minute boat ride. Don't be afraid of being taken to the "park" when you are in the car, although we were a little worried at the time.

The hotel service is very good. Mandy speaks very good Chinese. She will introduce the hotel facilities and hotel activities in detail when you check in. The lobby is spacious. I came in the off-season so there are few people. The meals are very abundant. Several locals will help prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner when you appear in the living room, and they are different all day long. The whole hotel is on a small island. It takes only about ten minutes to go around and walk around the tailing beach. You can watch the sunset and the moon at the hotel. You can stroll around the tailing beach and pick up shells at low tide. The water visibility near the hotel is OK. You can see starfish and small fish on the hotel balcony and the pier corridor. Snorkeling is better at noon. The hotel has a snorkeling instructor. Just call him. The hotel can also buy disposable mouthpieces. The visibility will be worse when the water rises in the afternoon, but small fish and starfish can also be seen. The equipment in the hotel room is still relatively old, which is incomparable to domestic hotels.
