Excellent inexpensive hotel, 5 minutes to the bus station, about 15-20 minutes on foot to the railway station and the huts. 40 minutes on foot to Ephesus.

Location is superb, it is right next to the Efes Museum. We had a car so it wasn’t a big deal for us to go to the ancient city and the Virgin Mary’s tomb but even if we hadn’t, there are plenty of choices of public transportation. You can even walk to the ruins of the ancient city. The breakfast was nice, the staff was sincere and helpful. The cafe next to the hotel has good tea. And there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The castle is only a few hundreds away from the hotel.

I have never stayed in such a bad hotel. They don't provide any drinking water. The water in the room's water pipes is not drinkable. The filtered water downstairs is not allowed to be used. They force us to buy mineral water from the hotel. It seems that they deliberately don't provide drinking water in order to make money from selling mineral water.
