Sadly, our recent stay at L'Auberge de Sedona left much to be desired, especially considering it's alleged five-star rating. The most glaring issue was the resort fee, which was a staggering 10% of the room rate— meaning folks that book more expensive rooms will be paying exorbitantly higher resort fees. We've stayed at a lot of properties with resort fees - never have we ever seen them be variable by guest, depending on the cost of the room! This, coupled with COUNTLESS additional charges like valet parking, resulted in over $1,000 in expenses for two nights, even though we we only dined at the hotel once (That's $1,000 in expenses outside of the $1200/night room rate). We also discovered that L'Auberge de Sedona is not part of the prestigious Auberge Resorts Collection, which might explain the discrepancies in service and overall experience (as shared by many other reviewers). In stark contrast, my previous experience at Enchantment Resort, also in Sedona, truly lived up to its five-star promise, with exceptional service and no surprise fees. For a truly luxurious getaway, I recommend Enchantment Resort over L'Auberge any day!

The linens are crisp, the grounds are well maintained, the staff always greets you with a smile and that includes room service, valet, front desk. I love that when I go out for the day, and return to a freshly made up bed, towels refreshed, items strategically placed its a sign you have been pampered. You're being well taken care of. I've been staying here for the last 5 years and it will always be a sweet home away from home.

Stayed in cottage 33 right next to the event center. Crew was setting up for a wedding Friday evening and most of the morning Saturday. Wedding was going until at least 11pm. The crew returned Sunday around 6 am to start tearing down. Not a Peaceful weekend. Would recommend having someone from the wedding party stay in that cottage!! The resort was beautiful, and the food was great!! Shame about the noise and construction ruining a wonderful weekend.

We had such a lovely stay. The property is absolutely gorgeous. We had a riverside cabin that was fantastic. Large and comfortable with showers inside and out. Large bathroom, fabulous room with fireplace, great seating area. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Close enough to town for us to walk but they’ll drive you in if you prefer. Car or golf cart. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend! It’s quite pricey but if you can it’s worth the splurge

Make sure there isn't a wedding reception on the nights you are going if you are going for the purpose of relaxation/peace and quiet. We were located right next to the building it was in and the music/and people were loud until 11 pm. This doesn't align with a relaxing spa experience if that is what you seek. The property is very nice, I just wouldn't say the value is there for the price depending on the experience you are seeking. If we had at least been informed and allowed the option to go somewhere else that would have made a small difference in knowing the hotel cares about everyones individcual experience.

Another amazing, tranquil experience. We celebrated our 30th anniversary this past week and will be back again in the future. From the staff to the overall experience we couldn't be happier. The Spa was so rejuvenating and staff was beyond exceptional.

We had brunch at the creekside patio restaurant. The view was beautiful, shady and tranquil. The food was fine, not remarkable, but it was only brunch. The waitstaff was very attentive and personable. I would definitely recommend a daytime meal to enjoy the outdoor experience.

We recently booked a stay at this so-called 5-star resort, expecting the level of service that justifies their exorbitant rates. Sadly, we were sorely disappointed. The manager has a condescending attitude that left us questioning the resort's commitment to its guests. Fresh juices were listed on the breakfast menu, but apparently, they depend on deliveries. Fine. However, when we asked if they could reserve two juices for us since we planned on having breakfast there every morning, we were brushed off. Despite committing to dining there daily, they couldn’t guarantee this simple request, which seems ridiculous for a resort charging $1,500 per night. There’s no trust, no courtesy, and absolutely no sense of hospitality in their service. For a resort in the Auberge collection, this is an embarrassing outlier. We’ve stayed at other Auberge resorts and loved them, but this place? It’s a disgrace. A resort is only as good as the people running it, and this staff simply doesn’t care. I mean, I order coffee and just take a look at the photo that I’ve uploaded. How dare they leave ground coffee in there? Unfortunately, we're stuck here for another eight days because we’ve already paid. Rest assured, we’ll be eating out every day. Do yourself a favor—save your money and stay somewhere that actually values its guests. This place is all price, no service, and zero charm.
